❝Seashell.❞

Sounds of waves, crashing into each other.

The chatter of the crowd, loudly enjoying their time.

Squacks, from the seagulls that roams the beach, leisurely stealing people's food.

The blazing hot Sun, shining it's bright beam down from the sky.

The gentle wind, flowing by, making the leaves and branches rustle with it.

Those were the sounds, the feelings,

That I wish I could experience again.

Just one, last time.

Before you disappeared from me.

You've always liked summer.

The warmness of the season has always pumped your adrenaline.

Or so you said.

Always performing risky acts, no matter where and when.

People always said that it's dangerous, and that you should stop.

And I agree with those people.

But sometimes, I don't.

You, enjoy these risks.

You, laugh when you do them.

You smile,

with a cheerful attitude,

When you perform them.

"Isn't it better, to just let you do the things that makes you happy?"

Were one of my thoughts when I looked at you, practically dazzling under the hot Sun.

I've always been worried about you.

Always following you around, like a lost puppy.

To see it for myself, that you're alright.

But somehow,

no matter how many times I try to keep you safe,

Fate.

Will always find a way.

Sounds of laughter, could be heard from the beach.

Following the sound of sands, crushing under our feet.

Splashes and loud voices, filled the empty beach with a sense of joy.

The Sun sinking ever so slowly, making the once blue sky, painted with the colour orange.

You've always liked the colour orange.

Maybe that's why, you like the sunset so much?

Was that the reason why, we went to the beach that evening?

To see the sun setting,

Together at the beach,

As friends?

To tell me your goodbyes,

Before you disappeared from me?

From our family?

Our beach?

Why?

Why did you do it?

Why did you run?

Why were you so cold?

So, pale?

Why did your heart stopped beating?

Why did you do that?

Why didn't you answer me?
