Last Mystery

Heading back

Third person's P.O.V.

Adrian slowly opened her eyes. She slowly looked around her to see a beautiful sight. Nature looked calming.

It helped her calm herself down. She climbed down the tree and walked to the cliff. She looked down and knew that she couldn't go back there. Not now at least.

She still wanted to see him. Wanted to tell him that he was right. Wanted to tell him that dispite every thing, she still loved him.

But she was scared. Scared that if she go and see him, he won't let her go.

She felt tears burning her eyes. She was counfused and hurt.

Adrian put her hands on her face and took deep breathes to calm down. After a while, she calmed down and looked back.

She just noticed that she had brought Max all the way here and she felt guilty.

She walked to Max slowly, forcing a sad smile.

-"Hey, Max?"

Max let out a concerned niegh. Adrian hugged his neck and whispered to him.

-"I'm so so sorry for bringing you into this. I didn't know what I was doing..."

Max hugged back with his neck and it made the girl giggle and break apart from the hug. She patted Max's neck while talking.

-"What do you say if we head back?"

Max let out another neigh, standing on his two back hoofs. Adrian giggled again and hoped on.

As fast as she sat down, Max ran.

'How did I managed to do this last night?'

This thought was in Adrian's mind all the way.

When they reached the castle, it was already noon. They came from a side way, where no one could see them. Max didn't slow down when he reached the gates and the gaurds just went out of the way. It was MAX after all!

Adrian was so worried. She didn't know how would they react to seeing her. She was scared if they reject her. She was scared if she had to go back. She was scared to be alone again!

Max was still running. He knew where he should go. They reached the training area and he stoped. Out of good luck, Pete was there.

-"Max! You're back! I'm going to bring them, don't worry!"

After that spy incidence, he felt guilty for hurting the girl. He immediatly recognized her.

He ran to the throne room. Queen Rapunzel, king Eugene, Varian, Lance and his daughters and queen's parents where there since morning.

Pete burst the doors open.

-"Your higness!"

All of the looked back to see Pete who was panting, trying to catch her breath.

-"What is it Pete?"

Rapunzel asked. Pete caught his breath before answering.

-"Max is back!"

They all ran out. Raps, Eugene and Varian was worried for their friend. Lance and girls was exited to meet a new friend. Arianna was worried for her friend's daughter. And fredrick was worried for his family. Only god know what would they do if they were concerned.

Pete didn't have time to mention Adrian. It made Varian to think she wasn't there. He was worried to death!

When they finally reached the training area after Pete, they saw Adrian standing near Max, nervous.

-"Adrian!"

The three yelled in unison and ran to the scared girl.

Without thinking twice Raps hugged the girl tightly. Adrian flinched at the touch. She was both relaxed and afraid. She was relaxed that she wasn't rejected but afraid from the touch. Her breathing was fastening.

Thankfully Eugene noticed it and put a hand on Rapunzel's sholder to let go. Raps let go of the girl.

Adrian looked around her. She was surrounded by people she didn't know but could guess who they were by Eugene's stories.

Rapunzel and Eugene was kneeling infront of her and she could feel Eugene's concerned gaze upon herself, looking for any injury.

She looked up and noticed Varian who was standing further than others. Before she could say any thing, Eugene spoke up.

-"Adrian, are you okay? Are you hurt? Where were you?"

-"I'm fine, really."

She didn't wanted to answer the last question right now. She turned her attention torwards Varian.

-"Varian...?"

Varian flinched. He didn't know what to expect.

-"Are you mad at me...?"

Adrian asked quietly.

Varian's head shot up.

-"What? No! No!"

-"Then..., why are you avoiding me...?"

-"I thought you are mad at me."

Varian said while scratching the back of his neck.

-"Why should I be mad at you?"

Adrian asked with wide eyes.

Varian was quiet and after a moment, it hit Adrian.

-"Oh... No, Varian, I'm not mad. It's way diffrent ftom Cassandra."

Varian sighted in relife and walked to Adrian with a smile.

The same smile grew up on Adrian's face and then on others.

-"Well, Adrian these are our friends!"

Eugene stated, pointing at Lance and others.

I'm sorry that this chapter is soooooo clingy. I am out of inspiretion! And since it was five or six days since my last update, I just wanted to give it out. It was my latest update!
