Walk

Varian's P.O.V.

We were all walking to the city. Me, Raps, Eugene,Lance, Catalina, Kiera and most importantly, Adrian.

Catalina and Kiera were talking with Adrian. It was mostly Kiera talking with Catalina's imput and Adrian's smiles and giggles.

Adrian was a bit shorter than them dispite being a year older. She seemed happy but I couldn't help but to feel that some thing is wrong.

'Come on, Varian! You are just sensetive after every thing!'

Probably. But I'll keep an eye on her.

-"Well, where are we going first?"

Lance asked us.

Three girls were still talking with each other and didn't noticed us. I guess Angry and Red are exited to meet another girl around their age.

-"Xavier, of course! They would be good friends!"

Raps said exited.

Eugene chuckled nervously and said.

-"I think it's better if we show her other places before hand. I'm concerned if they meet, they won't let go easily."

I got his point. So did others.

-"How about Monty's shop?"

We all looked at Raps shocked.

-"What?"

She asked confused. Lance asked the question we were all wondering.

-"Did you just suggested Monty?"

-"Yeah..."

Raps said waiting for explain. Eugene answered.

-"Since when you and Monty became friends?"

-"Oh! After the battle I went to him and apologized for our behavoir from..., Catalina's anger issue... And we became friends!"

We looked at each other and nodded. That was understandable.

We walked down the road. Raps and Eugene chated and said "Hi" to some of the citizens as as we passed by. Even Lance and I greeted a few too!

A few feet away from the shop, Kiera spoke up.

-"Sooo, where are we headed?"

-"Right there!"

Lance said as he pointed to the sweet shop.

-"Ooww! Uncle Monty!"

Catalina said.

-"Umm, who is uncle Monty?"

Adrian asked confused.

-"You know, the one who have a candy shop and hated Rapunzel before?"

Eugene adressed.

-"Oh, yeah! I forgot for a moment."

A bell rang as we walked in. I saw Adrian froze for a moment. Why?

'Doesn't that sound like Jerico's bell as well?'

Right!

Before I react, Adrian snapped out of it and walked in behind others.

Monty turned and looke at us and smiled.

-"Hello every one! How can I help you today?"

-"We are mostly here to show a new friend around but I think a few sweets won't hurt!"

Kiera, Catalina and Lance started to walk in the shop exitedly.

-"A new friend?"

Monty asked criously.

Euegen softly pushed Adrian forward with one hand. She walked torwards Monty and smiled.

-"Hi!"

Adrian stated shyly while waving a bit.

-"Well hello, young lady! What's your name?"

-"I'm Adrian."

-"It's nice to meet you, Adrian! How can I help?"

Adrian looked confused. Suddenly Lance came with the girls and a lot of sweets. At that moment Inwas thankfull for it.

I bend a bit and whispered to Adrian.

-"What's wrong? Don't be shy! Tell any sweet you want."

-"I've never eat sweets! I don't even know the names!"

-"Okay, Adrian?"

Monty said and we both looked up.

Adrian didn't know what to say so I answered instead.

-"Can we have some chocolate?"

Adrian nodded in agreement, still having no idea what it is.

Monty nodded and went to bring some chocolate.

-"Thank you..."

Adrian whispered to me shyly but gratfully.

-"No problem!"

I answered and smiled wich she returned.

-"Here's your chocolate!"

Monty beamed.

Adrian and I both got one. I ate it all at once. It taste really good!

Adrian stared at it for a moment but then took a little bit. She closed her eyes and smiled.

-"Wow, Mr.Monty, It's so good!"

Monty chuckled.

-"Well thank you! And you can call me uncle Monty!"
