Melissa got home from school nervous and said to her dad who was home.

Melissa: hey dad, hey Joey
Dad/Joe: hey
Melissa: uh dad... did you get a phone call by someone by any chance?
Dad: uh... no...?
Melissa: good because I didn't do anything wrong. Bye! I'm going to go upstairs to my room and start my school work *runs upstairs*
Dad: *to Joe* what was that about?
Joe: *shrugs shoulder* who knows its Melissa

Just then the door bell rang and Paul answered it and it was a mother with her son.

Dad: may I help you?
???: are you Mr. Jonas?
Dad: yes is their something wrong?
???: I am Caesar's mother and I found your daughter and my son in my house alone when they were supposed to be in school
Dad/Joe: what?!
Dad: Melissa Paula Sorrento-Jonas! Get your butt downstairs now!
Melissa: *comes downstairs* y-yes dadddyyy. Hi Miss. Diaz, I mean the person I never met in my entire life
Joe: *roll eyes* save the act Melissa, we know
Melissa: I can explain, you see-
Caesar: it's my fault
Melissa: Caesar...
Caesar: I was getting back at my mom, and I took advantage of Melissa
Joe: you did what?!
Paul: *pulls him back* Joe, calm down
Joe: calm down, I want to kill him!
Melissa: dad, Joe, I need to be straight with you. Caesar didn't take advantage of me
Caesar: Mel...
Melissa: no, you have to stop protecting me. It was both our fault. Caesar and I were doing friends with benefit thing because we couldn't handle being in a relationship together. Joe... I'm sooooo sorry
Joe: you lied to me Melissa! You told me you weren't having sex
Paul: wait, what is he talking about
Melissa: can we not talk about this in front of them
Miss. Diaz: yeah we should probably go anyways
Paul: keep your son away from my daughter if he knows what's good for him
Melissa: dad!
Miss. Diaz: I will, and I will make sure he goes to school and not where he supposed to be
Paul: as well as my daughter *gives look*
Melissa: *looks down ashamed*

Paul closed the door for The Diaz family and Joe said to Melissa.

Joe: how could you lie to me? You starred right into my eye and told me you weren't having sex with anyone
Melissa: Joe...
Joe: tell me the truth, are you currently a virgin right now?
Melissa: JOE! That's personal!
Paul: I would like to know as well young lady
Melissa: dad! Ever heard of invasion of privacy. I don't talk to you guys about your sex life
Paul: that's because we are the adults and you're a child
Melissa: I'm 14!
Paul: exactly you're still a child. Honey we talked to you about safe sex and how you were gonna tell your mom you were gonna talk about it with her first before doing it
Melissa: oh no mom, she can't know about this, please don't tell her
Paul: you know I can't keep this from her, and that's is our issue lately. You sneaking around, hiding things and keeping secrets from us. Skipping school? That is not like you Melissa. If that boy is the reason-
Melissa: its not Caesar fault. I made those choices not him. He didn't forced me to leave school
Paul: speaking of school. Why didn't I get a message about you skipping classes
Melissa: because it only happened today
Paul: just today?
Melissa: just today daddy I swear, it will never happened again
Paul: it better not, because your grounded
Melissa: grounded-
Paul: that's right. For now on I'm taking you to school and picking you up from school to make sure you go to school
Melissa: for how long?
Paul: until I can learn to trust you again
Melissa: fine... can I go my room now
Paul: go

Melissa heads upstairs and Joe yelled after her.

Joe: you didn't answer my question!
Paul: Joe, let it go...
Joe: can you believe this dad, she lied to me
Paul: welcome to my world
Joe: but she always looks me in eye and tells me the truth. She never gotten away before with a lie like that, how did I not see that?
Paul: did you noticed her hand gesture, she could have cross her hand behind her back
Joe: your right... that little snake!
Paul: don't worry Joe, after this punishment. Melissa will think twice before lying to us again
Joe: thanks for being on my side with this. Nick, Frankie and Kevin think I overreact sometimes with this protective thing. Now my intuition is right!
Paul: do me a favor, don't tell your brothers about this. It's best if it comes from Melissa mouth then from you
Joe: fine... I won't tell my brothers anything
Paul: thank you. It's bad enough she already disappointed you, she doesn't want to disappoint the other three with her actions
Joe: finneeee... I won't say anything
Paul: now... about this friends with benefit thing
Joe: dad, it's best if you don't know what this one is

Joe said parting his shoulder before walking into the kitchen and Paul said going after him.

Paul: *thinks: no way* Joesph! What does it mean!

Sorry its been so long since I updated this story. I just haven't been motivated much to write this with everything going on. I'm not like that much in love with the Jonas Brothers as I used to be which is why I'm writing other fics as well because I don't want to dedicate my whole life to them. I need to branch out and write new stories so I don't run out of ideas or writers block. I hope ya'll understand. I've been writing Jonas Brothers fic since 2008/2009 so I think it's time to write other stories. I will still finish up the ones I have yet to complete, before I complete change directions.
