I spent two days with Yeji and went back to the dorm.

At the dorm.

I entered and saw Sadness unnie.
Unnie: "Oh, you're back."
Y/n: "Yeah. Sorry for not coming back. I just needed some space."
Unnie: "It's okay, we all need some space sometimes. I'm gonna head out then."
Y/n: "Yeah sure. Thanks again unnie."
She smiled at me before leaving.
I hung up my jacket and went to go see what the girls were doing. Turns out they were all in their rooms but I didn't want to bother them. So I went to my room as well. But Sana was sleeping on my bed, holding my blankets.
I smiled at her.
Y/n: "You missed me too huh?"
I put away my bag and slowly laid next to her. I admired Sana for long enough before holding her and falling asleep too. I was tired.

One hour later.

I felt someone poke my cheek. I opened my eyes.
Sana: "W-When did you get home?"
Y/n: "Awhile ago. Why? Were you waiting for me?"
She hid her face in my chest and I laughed.
Sana: "Yeah! I was up all these nights waiting for you! I'm sorry for being like that towards you."
Y/n: "It's okay. I forgive you, I always do."
Sana: "I won't be so greedy about you anymore."
Y/n: "What is that supposed to mean?"
Sana: "I won't bother you so much."
Y/n: "Really? Did you apologize to Dahyun?"
Sana: *sighs* "She won't talk to me."
Y/n: "Give it a few days Sana, she needs space too."
Sana: "I know, I'm just not used to her not talking to me."
Y/n: "Don't think too much about it. I'm sure she'll talk to you by the end of this week. I mean who wouldn't be mad after someone was using them-
She smacked my arm.

Y/n: "OW."
Sana: "I didn't use her-
Y/n: "So you did like her."
Sana: "No, I like her but not in the way I am with you."
I pouted and she pinched my cheeks.
Sana: "You're so cute!"
We were laughing when Dahyun walked in. We all stopped.
Y/n: "I'll leave you two to talk."
I left and Dahyun went in.

Sana's POV.

Dubu sat on the chair by Y/n's desk.
Sana: "Are you still...mad?"
Dahyun: "Yeah, but why? Why did you use me like that?"
Sana: "I'm sorry Dubu, I did like you before. But now Y/n is back, and you know I've always loved her more than a friend-
Dahyun: "So Y/n was right. If she's not around, you find someone else to cling on to."
Sana: "Don't think like that-
Dahyun: "It's okay, it was fun while it lasted. Thank you unnie."
She got up and left.
Sana: "I'm sorry Dubu."

Then Y/n peeked her head back in.
Y/n: "You guys good?"
Sana: "I think so."
Y/n: "Get ready, we have to go record your song 'Signal' for the new comeback in a few weeks."
Sana: "All of us?"
Y/n: "No Sana, the freakin wall. Yes all of you!"
I hoped out of bed and got ready along with the other girls.

Y/n's POV.

Y/n: "NaJeongMoSaJiMiDaChaeTzu. All nine are here so let's go."
Our drive there.
Chaeyoung: "Y/n, your voice is really good and sweet. Have you ever like made a song?"
Y/n: "I made one a few weeks ago when I first started this job."
Tzuyu: "Ooh! Can we hear it?"
I laughed.
Y/n: "You girls will probably cringe at it. But sure, we can listen to it at the studio."
Sana: "Was it about someone?"
Y/n: "Yeah, someone very special to me. But I didn't know them at the time which is unfortunate."
We got to the studio and recorded their song.

One hour later.

Sana: "Time to hear your song!"
I groaned in annoyance.
Y/n: "UGH! Do I have to!?"
Jihyo: "Uh, yeah."
Momo: "You said you would show us!"
Sana: *GASPS* "You should sing it for us!"
I dropped my jaw.
Y/n: "Uh-
Mina: "You should!"
Tzuyu: "Yeah!"
Chaeyoung: "Sit, I'll grab your guitar and a mic."

Char went to go grab those things while I sat and the others sat on the floor. She came back with everything I needed.
Chaeyoung: "Okay, start whenever!"

I sighed and started playing.

Sana's POV.

As she was singing, I started to realize this song was about me back when she started working with us. She didn't know us yet, but felt safe with us, me, even though she didn't know who we were. She was trying to figure us out and why she felt so safe with me so she wrote a song about it. Y/n needed me at the time because she was frustrated but didn't know it was me she needed.
Y/n: "I need you now but I don't know you yet."

We all clapped for her and she smiled.
Sana: "Wah, you're really...emotional when you sing N/n."
Y/n: "I'll take that as a compliment."
Mina: "You should release that song, it would be a hit."
Y/n: "Nah, it'll be our song."
Sana: "Who were you thinking about when you were writing this?"

Y/n's POV.

Sana: "Who were you thinking about when you were writing this?"
You Sana, who else?
Y/n: "I was thinking about someone special during that time. Even though I didn't know her, I felt safe with her. But now that we both know each other, it's a very good thing."
Dahyun: "Yah, just tell us."
I laughed.
Y/n: "No, it's not the right time. But I'm pretty sure this person already knows who she is."
I looked at Sana and then back at Dahyun.

Y/n: "There's something else I need to tell you girls."
Jihyo: "Are you leaving?"
Y/n: "Not exactly. Yeji said she might debut in the next two years. That could mean next year. So I'm just giving you all a heads up that if Yeji debuts, I'm gonna quit and go be her manager-

Sana: "Why? Can't you at least finish your contract with us?"
Y/n: "I will, but after my contract ends...I'll be gone too."
Dahyun: "Yah, don't make it sound so sad."
Y/n: "I thought you said you didn't like me?"
Dahyun: "Uh-I-UGH! Forget it!"
She stormed out of the room and I laughed.
Jeonyeong: "You right, Dahyun's going to cry the most when you're gone."
Y/n: "Yeah."
Sana: "N/n, can I talk to you for a sec?"
I followed her out of the room to somewhere more "private".
Y/n: "What's up-
She stepped even closer to me to the point where I could feel her breathing on me.
Sana: "Are...you really going to leave after the contract ends?"
Y/n: "I-I don't know Sana. I promised to be Yeji's-
Sana: "Then promise me you'll stay by my side!"
I was speechless and shocked she said that.
Y/n: "Sana-

She pulled me into the bathroom and locked it before going for my lips. I was shocked at first, but then realized how much I wanted to taste her lips too and kissed back. She pulled away while still touching my forehead with hers.
Sana: "I don't care about the stupid contract, I care about you and I need you here with me."
I smiled.
Y/n: "Okay, I'll stay with you for as long as I can."
