Those footsteps! I whipped my head around to the direction of the sound. "Yes!" I jumped in air before flying down to cut more necks. "Listen all! We should protect Eren so he can finish the job. Keep all the titans away from his reach" I said loudly floating on air catching everyone's attention. "Alright!" they shouted in unision.
I killed the titans that were hard to reach for soldiers with 3D maneuver gears and made sure no one was on the ground. Yes that's it! Make way for him so he can be the greatest ally of mankind! "GO EREN!" Me, Armin and Mikasa shouted at the top of our lungs.
At last the yellow flare was shot, indicating the operation was successful. I looked over at Eren and saw Armin struggling with getting him out. Oh no where did those 2 titans pop out from?! I increased my speed and went over to those titans before bumping with someone on air throwing me on the ground.
I crashed on the ground hard, almost fracturing my whole body. "What the hell! I had them!" I shouted to the figure who bumped into me. Wings of freedom? I noticed his cloak which made my eyes widen. That guy... he's He looked at me squinting his eyes as he got down from the Titan's body. The last thing I remembered was him coming towards me as he said something which I honestly couldn't figure out until darkness overcame me.
My eyes shot open and I sat up while looking around the place. I'm in a hospital? I noticed my bandaged knees and elbows. Why did this happen...? "You've finally woken up" a deep voice said from beside me causing me to look at them. My eyes widened at the man behind the voice.
"Captain Levi! What are you doing here...?" I asked still not believing his presence. "I thought I should apologize for interfering your fight" he said while looking at his hands. Oh my God he's even more handsome up close. SNAP OUT OF IT JULES! "It's alright, thank you for coming" I said averting my eyes away from his face. He noticed my movement and sighed a bit. He then handed me a fruit basket with a note in it before leaving the room.
I opened the note and read it "Sorry. Get well soon brat - Levi" WHAT AN APOLOGY! I'LL FORGIVE YOU JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR LOOKS, YOU MIDGET! Later I got to know from Armin and Mikasa that Eren was caged in an underground prison because of various reasons and the fact that we couldn't meet him was pissing me off.
