"There's gotta be a way through if it's all plugged up" Levi said while Moblit carried me. "I'm sorry for this" i apologised again but he shook his head and smiled at me. Suddenly a bright light came from the inside lighting up the cave causing it to rumble. A transformation? "There!" I pointed towards the hole that opened up. "Moblit, take Jules and get out of here" Levi said, his voice full of worry. "Not now please. We've come a long way. Let me see this through with you all".
Just when Historia was about to be blown away, I caught her and pulled her towards me. "Keys" Levi said. I looked around before my eyes fell on that shiny thing and then tossed it to Levi while the others held Eren. "The ceiling! Look out!" Armin shouted right when they freed Eren. "This titan seems to be much bigger than the colossal one" Hangi said, her eyes sparkling. "Shit, there's no way out" Jean said holding his head with his hands.
At one point Eren dropped on the ground and started crying. "I'm sorry everyone.. i've been nothing but useless" he sobbed. "What's this? When have you ever accomplished anything by your strength alone?" Jean asked crouching beside him. "What a weakling! We've been through much worse than this" Connie said crossing his arms. "Not that I wanna get used to it!" Sasha added. "It's useless. We can't escape" Eren said running his hand through his hair. "You wanna sit here and hold hands till we're crushed or burned to death?" Historia asked sternly. "Eren, i hate doing this to you everytime but you've gotta make the choice" Levi said.
From the corner of my eyes, another shiny thing caught my attention. Armour.. ? Is that- my eyes widened in realization. "Eren use this" I said handing him the container. He stared at it for a moment and then looked at me. I placed my hand on his shoulder and nodded before he ran off the crystal cliff. He bit the glass container and transformed into a titan with crystals forming under him. It worked! "Everyone! Get underneath Eren!" I shouted.
And we were saved, of course. I cracked the hardening of the titan neck along with Jean so that Mikasa could pull Eren out. "Now that's what I call hardening. Even after cutting Eren away, the titan hasn't disappeared. Pretty impressive yeah?" Levi said looking at me. "Mmm" i nodded with a smile. "It's possible for us to plug that hole in wall Maria now" Hangi said putting a hand on Eren's shoulder. "Let's go, we are going after that big ass titan" Levi said causing us all to stand up. After Sasha and Connie secured the exit, we all went to the surface safely. What the hell is that thing..?
"Are you guys alright?" Erwin asked as he and his troops arrived. "Except Jules, everyone is" Levi replied. Erwin smiled at me worriedly before turning his attention to the titan. "What is that titan?" he asked. "It's Rod Reiss. I think we need your call on this, commander" Levi said. "Return to wall Sina" he said. "You're going to let that thing crawl right up the wall?" i asked in surprise. "To Orvud district, actually. That's most likely where it's headed" Erwin said which made me a bit confused.
As the members around me discussed what they should do with Rod Reiss, something clicked in me. "You're forgetting our other option" I said sitting up. "You're awake?" Levi asked as he helped me sit up. 'Yeah.. well couldn't sleep much" i chuckled before continuing what i said. "There's no proof that we can undo Rod Reiss' brainwashing. Even if Rod Reiss eats Eren, there's no guarantee that he'll return to normal. This is a once in a lifetime chance for humanity" I said. Eren looked at me in shock. "Yes, your father was trying to save us and humanity from the first King. He stole the Founding Titan from my sister, murdered all of the Reiss children because he had no other choice" Historia said. "Grisha would never do something like that without any reason. Thats why he left you the key to his basement" i smiled warmly at Eren.
Once we reached Orvud district we were required to go to the hall for the strategy meeting. When i heard from Levi that Erwin wanted Historia to be the Queen, it shocked me and made me think that it would be unfair to the kid since she finally got herself free. But seeing her resolute it calmed my nerves. It was even more pleasing when i heard her condition. "When you're the Queen, you can punch him in the face" i whispered standing next to her regarding Levi. She giggled at my comment.
