There's a glitch in the Japanese version of B2W2 where Marlon's text won't display after clearing the Plasma Frigate.
Exact quote from The cutting room floor:
After facing Marlon and finishing the events of the Frigate, but before Ghetsis, if you talk to Marlon, one of the text boxes that appear will be completely empty. This bug was rectified in international releases.
Basically
MARLON.EXE has stopped working.
