4:55am

When Shoto woke again, he couldn't help but gasp at the heat. He was so so warm. Aizawa and Hizashi, who had been discussing violent ways to murder Endeavor, were at his side in a instant.

Shoto pushed back the blanket that had been placed over him, and let his eyes adjust to the lighting.

"C'mon. You need a drink." Aizawa coaxed softly. He helped the teen sit up, and then handed him a glass of water.

Hizashi sat on the sofa beside him, as Shoto drank small sips. Aizawa sat on the other side, ready to take the glass back. Eventually Shoto was done, and gave the glass back to Aizawa.

"How do you feel?" Hizashi asked gently.

"Bad." Shoto croaked, his voice barely above a whisper. Hizashi placed a hand on his forehead, noting the searing heat.

It was still dark, being early morning. A dim light was on, and Shoto could make out Yuki on Aizawa's lap. The cat opened it's blue eyes and crawled over to the teen. Shoto buried a hand in her fur, relishing in the comfort it brought.

"Looks like we won't be doing much today." Hizashi chuckled lightly.

"Mhm." Aizawa agreed. He picked up the TV remote, and began switching through channels, before stopping on a nature documentary. None of the trio would normally watch that stuff, but they were all tired.

The living room was basked in soft blue light from the television. Shoto rested his head on Aizawa's shoulder, who took to running his hand through the teen's damp hair; he was sweating a lot.

The fever made it difficult for Shoto to rest, so he settled on watching the nature documentary. It was about tropical reefs.

Aizawa could feel the familiar tug of sleep pull at him, but being both a teacher and a pro hero, he could stay up all night easily. Anyway, he needed to stay awake incase Shoto's fever spiked again.

Hizashi was a different story. His head was leaned back against the sofa, blonde hair sprawled around him. Quiet snores could be heard.

Aizawa glanced down at Shoto. The teen's eyes were bright with fever, and he had a flush across his nose. All in all, he looked very unwell.

Suddenly, Shoto pulled himself from Aizawa's arms, standing up on shaky legs.

"Shoto, where are yo-" Aizawa began.

Shoto bolted. He ran down the hallway and into the bathroom.

Aizawa was quick to follow, racing after the teen. He found him in the bathroom, slumped over the toilet. He had thrown up, and was shaking uncontrollably.

"Shit kid." The ravenette whispered, kneeling beside Shoto. He brushed back the two toned hair from the younger's sweaty face.

"This s-sucks." Shoto choked out.

"I know, I know." Aizawa drew Shoto in for a hug. It was likely Shoto's quirk made getting sick terrible for him, thanks to it being temperature based.

Hizashi, who had been woken up by the commotion, promptly joined the hug. After a few minutes, Shoto went limp in their hold, having passed out again.

Aizawa scooped him up, walking back to the sofa and pulling a blanket over the youngest male.

When sleep came to the two adults, they were both on the floor, heads resting against the sofa.

8:27am

Shoto felt much better next time he woke up. It wasn't unbearably hot anymore, though his headache was still present.

Hizashi stirred with a groan, grinning when he saw Shoto awake.
