I have no idea where I am, but it looks like some sort of lobby. The walls are made entirely of concrete, and behind me is a metal stairwell leading up to a metal door, and in front of me is a table with a world map for a top. I walk past the table into another area. There are tons of bookshelves on the walls and there are two long wooden tables with lamps. At the other end of the room is a circular area housing a large telescope. I ventured over to one of the bookshelves and frowned at the strange titles. Demonology, Conjuring, Wards and Sigils? Was this bunker that Sam was talking about? I guessed that it was. I picked up a book titled Purgatory: Final Resting Place of Monsters.

Just as I open to the first page, I hear a voice behind me. "Who are you?" The voice startles me into dropping the book. I turn to see a boy a bit older than me standing in the entryway.

"Oh, um, I'm Lucas," I smiled politely, picking up the book and walking over to shake his hand.

"Jack," he said, wearily shaking my hand.

My eyes widen a bit. "You're my cousin Sam was telling me about!"

Jack looked somewhat relieved. "You know Sam and Dean?"

I nodded. "And Castiel. He said that your dad was my dad's brother."

He frowned. "My father? Are you sure? But that would make you a nephilim."

I nodded. "Yeah, Castiel called me something like that. He said my dad was the archangel Michael. What about you? Your dad, I mean."

Jack frowned. "How is Michael your father?" he asked, ignoring my question.

"Um, I'm pretty sure my parents... y'know... had S-E-X. Sam said that my dad's in a cage in Hell and that they're going to summon him there."

Jack let out a breath. "Oh, different Michael."

"There are two?"

"Well, not anymore. I killed the evil one from another reality and took his Grace," he shook his head dismissively. "So, I guess I'm supposed to 'show you the ropes,' as Dean says."

Jack led me to his room, which was pretty bland, as far as bedrooms go. I notice a red snake in a plastic container on the shelf. "You have a snake?" I ask, moving over to look at it.

"Hm? Oh, yes. Well, technically it belonged to a demigod we had to kill."

I frowned at him. "Demigod? Like Percy Jackson?"

Now it was Jack's turn to look confused. "Who?"

I scoffed, "Percy Jackson is only the best book series in existence!"

"Oh. I'll go into town and get a copy sometime," Jack told me as he continued to search for something.

"Yeah, speaking of which, where are we?"

"Just outside Lebanon, Kansas."

My eyebrows flew up in shock. "WHAT? How?"

"Castiel sent you here, right?"

"Well yeah, but Kansas?"

"Found it!" Jack smiled triumphantly, holding up a pencil. He led the way into what looked like the kitchen. After placing the pencil on the countertop, Jack stepped back with a smile. "Move the pencil."

Confused, I stepped forward and flicked the pencil across the counter. "Like that?" I asked hesitantly.

Jack shook his head. "I meant like this," he said, and pointed a finger at the pencil, which leapt into the air and started doing figure-eights.

"Woah," I gasped.

The pencil lowered itself onto the counter with a frown from Jack. "Can't you do things like that?" he asked me.

I shook my head. "Not that I know of. Up until this morning, I had no idea that angels even existed, let alone the fact that my dad is one."

Jack sat down, looking bewildered. "Huh. That's weird. Because I was born knowing that Lucifer was my father."

"Wait, what?" I practically yelled. "Your dad is the Devil?"

Jack nodded shamefully. "Yes. But I'm not proud of it at all. He's evil, and he kills for fun. I'm nothing like him." I understood where he was coming from. After Shannon killed her whole family, almost everyone I passed in the street gave me the evil eye and whispered about how I would be the next murderer. I guess that they thought she must've raised me to be a cold-hearted killer like her or something. But anyway, Milo and his mom were some of the only people who stuck with me. Of course, none of that is anything compared to having Lucifer for a father.

I put a hand on Jack's shoulder and sighed, "I believe you. I know we just met, but I've got a good feeling about you, Jack."

A/N: Hey! Thanks for reading this far into the story! I was wondering, who do you guys think Lucas should look up to more, Dean, Cas, or Sam? Comment your opinion, and the character with the most votes will be Lucas's... I guess role model?
