summary: the team knew nat had a soft spot for you but they're shocked to say the least when she can't seem to leave you alone
~~~~ The team liked to pick on natasha a lot. Ever since she adopted you, she acted like a totally different person to you. You could get away with anything and walk away with almost no consequences.
They found it amusing. But, they were also concerned on how you would act as an adult. Natasha wouldn't even glare at you, let alone get mad at you.
You, on the other hand, were just happy to have a mother figure. You had lived all you could remember in a cold room. No mom, no dad. No one. You were all alone. Now, you finally had a mom. Also, you were glad to be out of the orphanage. They would pick on you because you were shorter than average. You hated how short you were but now that you lived with natasha, you hadn't even remembered how short you were.
~~~~ You were sitting on the couch next to your mom. She smirked and pulled you over into her lap. She stroked your hair. Tony walked past you guys and went to walk into the kitchen but stopped when he saw you two cuddling. His eyes went wide and he quick texted everyone in the compound. "Guys, get up here now."
~~~~ A few minutes later, almost everyone was huddled behind the couch watching natasha strike your hair. "are you sure she wasn't replaced?" Sam asked tony. Tony shook his head. "I don't think so." Tony replied. Carol got up. "It's the mom in her. You guys leave her alone." Carol walked away, everyone except Tony.
"Tony, if you don't leave in 1 minute, i'm gonna make you leave." Natasha said. Tony's eyes widened and he ran away.
