~No One's POV~

You were about to meet your brother's girlfriend and you were not excited at the least. You knew that this woman was the reason why your older brother no longer wanted to be immortal. She was the reason why he was thinking about becoming a mortal just to be with her. Just the idea of this makes you scoff and roll your eyes.

While Hercules was your older brother by a couple of years, your father always favored your brother over you. Could it be because he was older? Or he was a boy? You never questioned it and instead, you accepted that you were as never good as him. Ever since you were young, you would watch him praise Hercules from afar. And now after defeating Hades, your brother was everyone's main focus. To everyone, you were Hercules's little sister. Not (Y/N).

However, to Hercules, you weren't someone who was under him. He treated you with respect and care. You never blamed him for your father having a bias.

Despite your brother's efforts to make you and Meg get along, the two of you kept on fighting. Making snarky remarks and sly jabs at one another until Meg got too annoyed to deal with you and stormed out. You couldn't care less, you hated that woman with your guts. She was taking away your brother, the only person who really cared about you.

--------

It started out as a normal day so how did it get to this? You were once again arguing with your father. He accused you of not working as hard as Hercules despite your constant efforts to impress your father. You tried to back yourself up but everything was shut down by him.

What made you crack was when your father shouted how he wished you and Hercules switched places. That you were the one becoming the mortal and not him. He felt that Hercules deserved to be up here in Olympus, not you. You stared at your father, heartbroken and torn down by his words. You felt tears forming in your eyes as you turned you back to your father and ran. You had to get away from here, you had to find Hercules. He would know what to do.

You thought about checking Earth since your brother might be with Meg. It was late at night so luckily no one was out right now. You wandered around, looking for your brother while wiping the tears from your eyes.

You were too busy wiping your eyes to notice the woman in front of you. You both bump into each other and the woman narrowed her eyes at you. "Watch where you're going yo- (Y/N)?" She started off angrily but her voice calmed down when she saw your face.

You looked up to see that the woman you bumped into was Meg. Her face was riddled with concern as she saw your tears. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked in a soft tone.

You turned your head away, glaring at the ground while trying to hold onto the last piece of dignity you have after being caught crying. "Nothing. Why do you care? You hate me." You snapped, causing her to scoff.

"First of all, I don't hate you. The only reason I act the way I do with you is because you hated me first!" She said with her hands on her hips.

You couldn't even respond with a snarky comeback. You stayed quiet for a couple of seconds before finally telling her about your argument with your father. Even though you hated Meg, everything came out like a water bursting out of a broken dam. You told her every detail from what was said and to how you felt about the whole situation. You felt like you could tell Meg anything and she wouldn't judge you.

When you were finished, Meg stared at you with disbelief. "How could your dad say something like that?" She scoffed and shook her head. She gave you a reassuring smile before placing a hand on your shoulder. You felt a small spark when her hand touched you. "(Y/N), your father is wrong about you. If anything, you're as amazing as any god or goddess in Olympus."

You feel your cheeks warm up as you stared into her eyes and took in her words. You smiled softly at her and thanked her for her reassurance.

------

For the past several weeks, you've been staying with Meg at her place. You didn't want to face your father yet since you were stubborn and you were still hurt by his words.

The two of you actually settled yoru differences and began to get along really well. You both would share your common interests and would try out each other's hobbies. It turned out that you had more in common with her than she does with Hercules. Meg would never admit it to anyone but she loved being around you. She always had so much fun with you and there was never a dull moment.

Since you had slept on her couch these past weeks, Meg would wake up every morning to find you still asleep. She couldn't help but find your expression cute when you were asleep.

Good things come to an end eventually because your father sent a messenger to tell you to come home and that your father apologized for lashing out.

You smiled at Meg as you both walked out of her home. "Thanks for letting me stay for the past couple of weeks. I hope I wasn't too much of a bother." You said shyly, rubbing the back of your neck embarrassed. She chuckled and pulled you into a hug.

You relaxed in her embrace and wrapped her arms around her as well. You both stayed in each other's arms for a while before pulling away and looking at each other. You couldn't help but realize how beautiful she looked. You felt your cheeks heat up when your eyes landed on her soft lips. You glanced away, trying to calm down.

You suddenly see Meg shift. Your eyes go back onto her to see her leaning in. Your eyes widen as you watch her lips come closer. Before you could act or say something, you feel her soft lips on yours. You feel yourself melt into the kiss and into her arms.

Your arms that were around her neck tightened to draw her closer as she drew your hips closer. You didn't know how long it lasted but you two had to pull away for air, leaving you both panting. You stared at Meg, blushing hard when you realized what happened. The guilt began to dawn on you but your heart was still racing.

"I-I have to go now!" You stuttered and moved away from her. You gave her a small wave before running as fast as you could. You couldn't believe it, you kissed your brother's girlfriend. Oh god what would happen if your brother found out? You never wanted to hurt your brother. You shook your head as you ran, trying to forget about the kiss.

Back at Meg's place, Meg couldn't stop thinking about you. Her cheeks were still pink from the kiss. The memory of how soft your lips were and how much more pleasant it was compared to Hercules.

That was when the two of them realized how screwed they were. They have a crush on each other now.
