Jeongyeon's POV

Time flies by so fast...

I was heading to the Im's to celebrate the new year.

I got my coat and scarf,As I went downstairs, I saw Chaeyoung drinking his coffee.

"Where are you going hyung?"Chaeyoung asked.

"I'm going to Nayeon's what about you?"I asked.

"Well, Mina and I are going to see the fireworks at the park."

"Ohhh, smooth as always Chaegie~"I teased.

"Hahaha, Whatever just go already."He said as he tries to ignore me.

I laughed and went out, it was a bit cold but, it was comforting.

Few minutues and I finally made it.

"Calm down Jeongyeon, I'm sure they are nice people."I said to myself.

I knocked on the door.

"Ah! Jeongyeon glad you came in just in time."Nayeon said as she pulls me inside.

There I saw his dad reading a book, while her mom and sister are cooking.

"Appa, this Jeongyeon the one that I told you about."Nayeon said.

"H-Hello, Mr. Im"

He then stood up and smiled.

"Nice to meet you I'm glad to meet you, Nayeon won't stop talking about you."He said with a chuckle.

Does Nayeon really talk about me alot?

"Well, I'll go help Eomma bye~"Nayeon said and left.

I was about to call her out when.

"Why don't we have a talk Jeongyeon?"Mr. Im asked.

"Uhh, Sure."

At first,I really thought he was scary turns out he is a great dad, he told me stories about Nayeon and he makes really lame jokes, kinda like me.

"You know I'm glad that she had openend up to you."Mr. Im said.

"Really? I didn't do anything that much."I said.

"Aish, You really did, if it weren't for you Nayeon won't be able to have the confidence that she had now, that's why I'm glad she had someone like you,Jeongyeon I mean it."He explained.

I was really glad that he trusted me.

"Appa!Jeongyeon! Dinner's ready."Nayeon exclaimed.

We both got up and then suddenly he whispered something to me.

"I really like you Jeongyeon, and if you like my daughter I approve it"

I then blushed at his word, while he just has a huge smirk on his face.

"Jeongyeon are you okay? Did Appa threatend you?"Nayeon asked.

"Hahaha don't worry about it,let's eat."Mr. Im said while assured Nayeon it's alright.

After we ate we then decided to go to the park and watch the fireworks.

"I can't believe it, another year has passed."Nayeon said while I nodded.

"Nayeon, what is your new year wish?"I asked.

Nayeon thinked for a moment and answered.

"To be able to graduate,what about you Jeongyeon?"

I thinked for a moment and then replied.

"Well I want to be more honest."I answered.

Suddenly it felt like the world stopped until.

BOOM! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I was startled but I laughed it off not until I found someone hugging me.

"Uh? Nayeon are you okay?"I asked.

She hugged me tight and then said.

"Can we please stay like this for a while?"

I blushed and sighed.

What great way to start the year.

Few days had passed.

Finally, The Grand Ball.

Everyone is excited not only that but rumors as well.

"I heard Kyungwan will wearing a long gown."said a girl

"I heard he will have a expenssive dress all the way from London."another said.

"Geez, these rumors are so stupid."Hara said.

"Haha, it's not true anyway."I assured her.

"Still, It's annoying anyways,what are you going to wear?"Hara asked.

"I'm not really sure yet."I answered.

After all the class ended, me and chaeyoung are waiting for ahjussi

"Hey, hyung can I copy your homework?"Chae asked.

"Sure, by the way where were you?"I asked.

"I was in the clinic I felt really sick."he said.

Ahjussi finally arrived we were about to go inside when Nayeon came.

"You guys, excited for the ball?"She asked.

"Yeah, we are."Chaeyoung said.

It was quiet when suddenly.

"Just,tell her hyung."

"Tell me what?"Nayeon asked.

"Well...I am so excited to can't wait hahaha bye nabongs~"I said and then we left.

"Nice going Hyung, that was your chance."Chaeyoung said.

"It's just...not now."I reasoned.
