Evangeline was an ordinary person and an ordinary witch. She really was nothing special. She was overlooked by her friends and underestimated by her teachers. And no one seemed to believe her when she said she was meant to be in Slytherin. Hufflepuff suited her too well to them; pushover and soft.
Evangeline grew sick of this distorted view everyone seemed to have of her. But when she turned to Remus for help, he wasn't there for her. So she came up with her next best option... the Slytherins.

-Bellatrix loves the idea of tainting a 'pure soul' and becomes her main teacher of magic (including dark magic).
-Bellatrix teaches her everything she knows and Evangeline develops a liking for her
-The two become extremely close and Bellatrix becomes vulnerable around her and divulges that she doesn't want to marry or do any of that but she has to. They sometimes fantasise about Bellatrix not doing what is expected
-She starts to take over the others in classes and loves the feeling of being powerful
-Eventually Bellatrix starts teaching Evangeline dark magic and she starts to be overwhelmed by it and persuaded by Bellatrix
- Evangeline is alongside Bellatrix joining the dark lord but starts to have doubts when bellatrix is forced to marry
