𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚 is cursed. And not in a figurative sense where she is just being dramatic and tells everyone she is cursed because she has bad luck or always picks out the disgusting flavoured bertie botts beans (although she must admit she has said it before). No, Magnolia was actually cursed.
𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 can tell her much about her curse, not Madame Pomfrey who tends to her after another fainting spell or sickness. Not her mother who remembers her own mum having such an ailment (but they don't talk anymore so that is off limits). Not even the healers at St Mungos that give her a check up every few months, apparently not understanding what they are looking for. So Magnolia is in the dark about her life, and whether she will even have one for much longer.
𝐒𝐨 𝐲𝐞𝐬, Magnolia is cursed. And to make it even worse, everyone thinks she is Luna Lovegood's 'looney' twin. Yes she is a blonde and in Ravenclaw but thats where their similarities end; Magnolia isn't up in the clouds, and certainly does not ramble about the nargles (but she can't deny she loves when Luna does). But apparently no one else sees it that way, and Magnolia is rumoured to be just as daft as Luna (sometimes even manic). Whether these rumours sprouted from her snapping when people touch her, or needing to wear gloves to protect herself, or it could be neither and they just assume because they look alike they are alike (most likely the latter).
𝐄𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 way, Magnolia hates the title and reputation she is given, especially when her crush Ron Weasley believes it. But she does nothing about it, why should she, she doesn't even know if she will live to see the next year. So when said boy starts to take notice of her and her regular visits to the hospital wing, Magnolia has no choice but to either let him in, or accept her curse and seal her fate.

- Magnolia is similar but not identical to Luna; honey blonde hair and more rounded features, more quick-witted and grounded

-She has a blood malediction and no one knows much about how it will affect her. She gets sick easily, faints a lot.
-Melody and Ginny are best friends and their personalities compliment each other, and Ginny knows about her curse
- Melody has always liked Ron/ had a crush on him but will never admit it

- Ron can't tell Magnolia and Luna apart initially, and he makes comments about Magnolia being a show-off and attention seeker in which she throws sarcastic comments back
- Ginny gets worried when Magnolia's hospital trips increase and she faints more often. She brings Magnolia along to the Dumbledore's Army meeting to improve her mood
- Magnolia gets a detention with Umbridge for trying to answer the questions in class when others don't know, having "I will not show off" on her hand. This leads to a lot of problems with her health (infection and blood loss). The trio notice and she tells Ron he is right about her
-Ron starts to observe her more and notices her frequent trips to the hospital wing and how she wears gloves often, beginning to notice differences between Luna and Magnolia
- During DADA they are paired together and Magnolia faints from the exertion and he takes her to the hospital wing
- Ron tries to see her and hang with her a lot more, which makes her more avoidant because it was easier trying to forget her crush when they never talked. She isolates herself from everyone because she is scared but Ginny pushes Ron to talk to her
- Push and pull factor between then where she pushes him away and then comes back.
-Hes the only one she lets touch her
