Chapter 5: Tangabels Squad Vs. Arachne's Angels

"And for the third to last fight, let's have...the tangabels squad vs...arachne's angels!"my eyes widened. Is this real?Is it really happening?

Yes it is bitch. You just slapped yourself a multiple times earlier.

Geez. I'm getting crazy.

Anyway, I can't help but cringe at our name. My friends first thought it was just a joke but hearing that name in here just doesn't sound so right. If we only know this will get this serious.

And I just found out that it wasn't just me who thinks its stupid. "Ew, we should'a picked a better name." Euca complained.

"As if we still have choice." Jas scoffed. Napatingin ako sa gilid at nakita ang limang babaeng nakaitim na pababa na.

"We should go now." I instructed and we all stood up. Well, except Crys.

Crys is the youngest to the five of us and she's the most scared today. We have to calm her down and explain a trillion times what should we do.

"Crys. We talked about this." I said. She gulped and with shaky legs, she stood up.

Finally.

"Just remember the plan. Okay?"

"So for the Red Corner, Arachne's Angels!We have Natasha Brown!"sabi ng host at umakyat ang isang babae na nakaleather na palda at jacket then nakaboots ng itim. Color black din ang make up niya pero okay lang since maputi naman siya.

Kami?Nandito na kami sa gilid ng open field at inaantay na tawagin kami.

"Next is,Victoria Lagros!"sabi naman ng host kaya umakyat ang babaeng nakaleather pants na black at nakacrop top ng black. Black din ang makeup at naka ponytail ang hanggang beywang niyang buhok.

Favorite nila ang black ano?

"Next is Savannah Galdo!"umakyat naman ang babae na all smiles di kagaya ng mga kasama niya. Nakacrop top din siya na itim,nakashort ng leather na itim,at nakagloves ng itim na hanggang elbow niya. Nakatwin braid din siya kaya maiisip mo na isip bata siya pero dahil all black sila,mukha silang psychopaths.

"Second to last is Rielle Romualdez!"sabi ng host at umakyat ang isang babae na nakajacket at pants na both leather. Siya ang may pinakamalaking katawan sa kanila. Nakalugay lang naman ang buhok niyang hanggang baba lang ng tenga niya. May clip din siya na may design na bungo. Creepy~

"Lastly is Penelope Schultz,"at umakyat ang babaeng nakaitim na palda yung pencil cut pero mas maikling version. Nakasleeveless din siya na damit at kitang kita ang cleavage niya.Nakalugay ang buhok niyang hanggang talampakan. Yup,ganon kahaba ang buhok niya.

"Choose your weapons now,"Sabi ng host kaya lumapit na ag lima malapit sa mga weapons. Hunters knife ang kay Natasha, butterfly knifes ang kay Victoria,axe ang kay Savannah,pocket knifes ang kay Rielle and chain whip ang kay Penelope. Hwew,kinakabahan na ako. Hindi kasi sila pipili ng weapon kung hindi sila magaling doon diba?

Bahala na.Kaya namin to. Aja!

"And on the blue corner,The tangabels squad!"napangiwi nalang ako. Seriously?

"First is Eucalyptus Hudson,"the host said so confident na umakyat si Euca. Nakasuot pala siya ngayon ng turtle neck na pink at nakapalda ng color black. Well,umakyat lang naman siya dun habang kumakain ng chips. Halimaw talaga sa pagkain. Napakasiba.

"Next is Crysanthemum Torres!"umakyat naman si Crys at pilit na ngumiti. Siya kasi ang pinakamatatakutin samin so for sure nanginginig na pati kalamnan niyan. Naka crop top pala siya na red at nakashort shorts. Nakared lipstick din siya at nakalugay ang buhok niya. Bitchy talaga ang pormahan haha.

"Next is Elodea Dela Torre!"umakyat na din si Dea sa stage. Nakasuot siya ngayon ng offshoulder na dirty white ang color at nakaleggings na black. Samahan pa ng 3inch boots na itim. Meron din siyang bangles at kwintas na suot na parang gawa sa ginto. Okay,knowing her,malamang milyon ang halaga ng mga sinuot niya ngayon.

"Second to the last is Jasmine Madrigal,"umakyat na si Jas sa stage. Siya yung may cold stare ngayon at tatayo talaga ang balahibo mo pag nageye to eye kayo. She wears leather jacket na black at fitted pants. Nakaponytail din ang hanggang balikat niyang buhok.

"And lastly,Spiraea Xyine Hernandez!"i sighed before going up on stage. I wear a fitted upper clothes na color red at criss cross sa likod and i also wear a shorts pero hindi kasing ikli nang kay Crys. Maybe four inches above the knee ang sa akin. Then nakaboots ako ng itim na lampas hanggang tuhod. Nakaponytail naman ng mataas ang buhok kong hanggang beywang and of course para mas fierce tingnan,i used the fierce red na lipstick this time.

"Choose your weapons now,"sabi ng host kaya lumapit na kami doon at kumuha ng kanya-kanyang weapon. Kinuha ni Eucalyptus ang pangsniper na baril,twin katana kay Dea, club ang kinuha ko,Jas got the brass knuckles and bow and arrow ang kay Crys.

Nagplano na kami kanina. Kaya namin to. My plan is the best. Yun ang dapat nasa isip namin ngayon.

Actually that plan was far from best. Its all versus all and I kinda thought that Jasmine's idea of one on one sounds far better. But I can't afford losing a friend. I feel like if we worked together, our chance of winning would be higher than fighting them one on one.

Not that I'm doubting my or my friend's skill. But the thing is, I don't know what our opponent CAN do. Plus, they look really intimidating.

I closed my eyes. Savannah, the only one left, kept on aiming at me. Her psychotic grin won't left her face. Like she really wants to kill me. I feel like falling. I can't do it anymore. I wanna give up.

Siguro hanggang dito nalang talaga ako.

I fell on my knees as I saw Savannah approaching me. Wala nang bala si Euca, wala nang pana si Euca, Dea's still unconscious and Jas's too far on me.

I closed my eyes. It's probably the end.

"Spiraeaa!" I heard Euca scream as she ran towards me. Napatingin ako sa kabilang gilid at nakita si Dea sinusubukang pigilan ang axe ni Savannah using one of her swords. She flashed a weak smile and I know based on her state, she couldn't hold that for too long.

I saw a tear from her, and I can read from her eyes that she's sorry for the condition she's in.

But it's not her fault. I know she tried her best and for me, that's enough. At least for a short time, God gave them to me. If I die, I'm still thankful for having my friends even for just a short time. So I smiled at her to assure her before she fainted, again.

"Goodbye, bitch." Savannah muttered and then, blood splattered.

From Savannah.

Her axe fell near me, almost touching my skin which sent me chills down my spine. I really thought I'm gonna die.

And there, I saw Euca standing behind Savannah's lifeless body. An arrow's shot in her nape, the blade I think went deep til her throat.

She was panting, but still smiling. She helped me stood up and then hugged me. We both cried as they announced that we won the exam.

But we're not yet done.

We're just starting.

And I know it'll get worse on the next days.
