Chapter 40: The Revelation

Spiraea's POV,

After nang yakap na umabot yata ng ilang minuto,pumunta kami sa may pool area pero nagmuni-muni lang kami.

"Anak, where did you go ba?"Mom asked while sitting on the pool side at nakababad ang paa sa tubig. Same as me.

"Mom,may nakita akong picture niyo before sa bahay ni Tita Quetzal and kilala ko lahat except sa babaeng mukhang angel. I mean,uh..."okay,im not good in describing but at least I am good in lying.

"You mean,Kirsten?The one with the bangs and shoulder length hair,and chinita? Maputi at--"I cut Mom off. Okay,tama na na ipamukha ni mom na mas magaling siya mag-describe sakin.

"Yes mom. Bakit di ko siya nakikita?I wonder if I can meet her?"I asked. Baka madulas ulit si mom at may masabi sakin na clue.

"She's dead. And its because of us,"mom said sadly.

No mom, she's alive. Tita Daffodil is the real dead.

"Why mom?"I asked again.

"Let's not talk about it now. Tara,lets see if the pasta's cooked already,"mom said diverting the topic.

"Mom,can we eat later?May sasabihin lang ako kina Euca,"I said to mom and when she nodded,I rushed in my room.

My father's in US by the way,so he isn't here. He's busy doing business there so he seldom comes home. Sometimes,every Christmas or New year,it depends on him.

Well,nasabi ko lang dahil baka curious kayo.

Mabilis kong kinuha ang tablet ko na nasa bag na dala ko saka tiningnan ang gc ng tangabels squad.

And then I left the gc and answer the call.

"Who's this?"I asked.

["Who do you think?"]

Bigla akong nainis nang marinig yung tumawag. The nerve!

"What do you need?How did you get my number?"

["Don't underestimate us. Just saying that we will come with you no matter what,"]

"And you think I would allow that?"

["I told you don't underestimate us,"]he said then hang up the phone.

Aish!I need to change my plan!Kailangan iconsider ko ang mga pakielamerong to. Kung kailangan isipin ang reverse psychology o double reverse psychology I will do it.

Lumabas ako sa kwarto ko at pinuntahan si mom nang mapansin na bukas pala ang kwarto niya kaya pumasok ako ng tahimik.
