My hands trembled slightly, I sucked a deep breath to calm down and compose the coolness. Hindi lang isang hingang malalim ang nagawa ko, I even had a quick time to fix my hair and face!
"Hey!" I greeted with a smile.
His face showed up on the screen, in a gray plain shirt and damp messy hair—his thick brows were furrowed while looking at me as if we're just in one place. He looked worried.
"I was calling, what took you so long?" the first question slipped out of his mouth. "Are you home now?"
"I'm fine!" I sat on the couch and felt my wound stretching, I endured it. "Nasa condo na ako, medyo natagalan lang. Safe driving."
His left brow arched, he nodded. "Uh-hmm, did you have fun?"
I rolled my eyes. "Have you suddenly forgot my rants earlier? Of course, I didn't have fun the whole time!"
He chuckled hoarsely, mukhang aliw pa sa inis ko. "I thought you calmed down."
"Anyways..." I squinted my eyes and raised a brow. "About the assurance—"
"Yeah, I'm in love with you." He chuckled quietly while watching me, I gulped. "It wasn't enough assurance, I'd give you more... every day like you said."
Napalunok ulit ako at umiwas ng tingin dahil kakaiba na iyong kabang dala ko sa dibdib, nawawalan ako ng boses at letra.

I glared. "Why are you in love wit' me! I feel like you're just making fun of me now, natatawa ka pa riyan!"
His lips ghosted a smile, he puts the side of his head on his knuckle and eyes shifted on the left side as if he was thinking while puckering his lips.
My face burned. "And you're thinking, huh!? You're gonna lie, I swear!"
Kumurap siya at nagbalik ng tingin. "No reason."

He makes no sense! Mag o-overthink na naman ako, gusto kong malaman iyong rason pero minsan ganyan din naman ang sagot ko sa sarili kapag may nararamdaman akong kakaiba. Hindi ko alam ang rason pero si Lexus kasi siya, ang hirap paniwalaan na wala siyang rason dahil kilala ko siyang mahirap kuhanin! Magbigay pa nga lang ng atensyon noon, madamot na siya.
