I yawned while walking on the sidewalk, I feel tired but I couldn't sleep so I decided to walk around. I landed in Berlin five in the morning today. I processed everything before coming here like the hotel booking and such, I'll be staying at Hotel Adlon.
I actually got Ichan's address from Vyper already but I'm still thinking how to face him with confidence. Not that I'm not confident but I need my complete composure here, marami kasing posibilidad na maaring magpasira sa mood ko kaya iniisip ko na agad.
My cellphone rang, mali talaga na binuksan ko ang cellphone ulit. Paniguradong sabog na naman ng sermon ang matatanggap ko.
"Hello," tamad kong bungad.
"What the hell are you doing in Berlin?!" Fatima's angry voice resounded.
"Just walking around..."
"Are you insane? You still have classes to attend! Anong tingin mo, bakasyon na!?"
"The break will come, May na."
"May isn't your sembreak yet! It's on twenty! My God, Flavia!"
"Ganoon na rin 'yon, uuwi rin naman ako. Huwag mo nga akong pakealaman, get your life!" natatawa kong sambit pero iritado na. "Besides, I didn't fail any exam."
"How did you know!? Wala pa ngang results? You're fooling yourself thinking about it so positive when you were always a failure ever since! And now, nakuha mong magbakasyon agad!"
My heart clenched, I gritted my teeth. Even when I badly wanted to ignore her words, I couldn't just erase it. My mind couldn't let go, baka sumama na naman ang pakiramdam ko mamaya dahil sa gigil.
"Bye-bye, I hope you won't get white hair so early! You're still young! And please, get a kid to preach and obey you — I'm not your child." I rolled my eyes in the air and ended the call before she could talk more.
I gasped heavily. She never really appreciated me, kahit anong gawin kong effort ay wala lang at hangin kaya bakit pa ako nagtataka sa mga asal niyang walang pagbabago. Honestly, I've been nice these past months without noisy and bad issues.
There were follow up calls from Mom but I know she's like Fatima so I didn't bother, they will only ruin my mood here. I went into the nearest resto and ordered myself a meal. Habang kumakain ako ay kausap ko si Frida sa Instagram.
Frida:
Sa 18 pa break namin, nakakainis!
Ako:
That's good. I won't be staying here for long!
Frida:
Bakit? I thought diyan tayo magbabakasyon? Hindi pa naman kayo nagkakausap, ah?
Ako:
Yep! Bahala na!
Frida:
All you need to do for now is talk to him then decide!
I was planning to stay here for the whole break with my Frida and Fallon if I made up with Lexus, kung maayos man o hindi... wala pa akong desisyong klaro. Baka kasi mainis ako sa Berlin kapag hindi naging maayos at babalik sa Pilipinas pero naduduwagan ako sa ganoong move.
I typed my reply.
Ako:
Alam ko! I'll do that!
Frida:
Good! Clear your mind, stupid! You didn't go there for nothing!
Ako:
Yep yep! Chill out!
I sighed heavily and looked outside the glass wall, natapos ko na ang pagkain at babalik na lang ulit sa hotel para matulog kahit papaano.
