Chapter 2: Glances

Third Person P.O.V

Y/N and Felix stared at each other for a good one minute until Han interfered. “You guys alright? There’s some weird tension here.” “Oh, we're alright. I was just thinking... Y/N looks pretty cute.” he smirked and looked at her. As red as a tomato, Y/N awkwardly giggled at the sudden remark knowing Felix was playing around, but she couldn’t help but blush. Why was he doing this to her knowing well that they are exes? “Oh shut up, Felix. You’re funny.” Y/N piped in playfully. “But for real though, you’re actually pretty cute. I have to agree with that.” Han suddenly complimented. Felix's hands turned into fists. Noticing that, he quickly hid them behind his back and smiled.

Han's P.O.V

There was a weird tension between Y/N and Felix. I don’t know what it was, but something didn’t sit right with me. I met Felix a few days ago at the new dance studio I joined. We got to know each other and he seemed like a chill guy, but when he looks at Y/N, something changes in him. Y/N seems like a really nice person. I’m not sure what’s happening, but it looks like they know each other. “Oh, Y/N, why don’t you introduce yourself first?” “Wait. Don’t we need another member?” Y/N questioned. Oh yeah. We do. I saw a girl standing in the corner of the room. She was staring at... Felix? Well, who cares. “Hey! Do you wanna join us?” I asked her expecting her to agree. “Yes, please. Thank you so much! I was too scared to ask...” Social anxiety is truly a big thing. “Oh, yes. Let’s introduce ourselves!” Y/N said and smiled warmly trying to calm the girl down. Y/N is really nice. I smiled to myself.

Third person P.O.V

“Nice to meet you all. I’m Eunha. I don’t really get along with people but I love making friends. I like collecting cute stones and stationary too. And I’m majoring in English literature because I love reading!” The new member acquainted the trio to herself while blushing a little. Han was eager to tell his members all about himself. “Well, I’m Han Jisung annnnnd I actually love music and dancing and just everything related to it. Ahhh I just wanna become a well known idol, you know? And I also like...drawing? I’m pretty good at caricatures. Oh Y/N I so wanna draw youuu.” Han jumped around brightening up everyone’s mood. It was now Y/N's turn. She hesitated, looked at Felix and stayed silent for a second. Too many thoughts were in her head. She couldn’t process what was happening. “I’m Y/N, but you may already know that because Han has said my name a million times already.” Han blushed and gave the brightest smile in the room. “I actually LOVE drawing and singing. I’m not much of a dancer but damnnn I love moving to music. I'm here because... I also like literature.” she put in a lie and completed her sentence. “If you love drawing, why aren’t you majoring in fine arts?”  Felix questioned, expecting a good answer. “I just... I have my reasons.” She replied avoiding Felix’s eyes that looked directly at her.

Y/N's P.O.V

Felix looked directly at me. "I just... I have my reasons." I spouted without thinking. I couldn't help but feel awkward and just helpless with him around me. I thought I had gotten over him. I thought I was stronger now. But then why is he making me feel this way? Y/N, pull yourself together. You shouldn't show him your weak side. You're better now.
"Alright. I see." he accepted, though doubting me. He knew I wanted to become an artist.
"I'm Lee Felix. I am here because I need a degree so that I can work on becoming an idol. Han and I go to the same dance studio and that's how we met" he said looking at me, as if he was directly telling me this. I just looked down.
Oh my beautiful Han came to the rescue. He started asking some weird yet nice questions to Eunha and Felix, trying to take their attention so that I could be at peace. 'He's nice.' I thought to myself.

The bell rung signalling the introduction segment's end. I ran back to my seat. Eunha accompanied me. She smiled warmly and gave me a cookie to eat. I was hungry. I think we'd be great friends. She offered a cookie to Felix and blushed. 'Oh wait. What's happening? No no stay away from him.' I thought in jealousy.
Han snatched the cookie that Felix was almost accepting and put it in his mouth. Oh he looks like a hamster. I think I felt myself calming down.
Another bell rang shaking me out of my thoughts. Due to me being afraid of loud noises, I visibly gasped in fear which caused Felix to look at me concerned. He knows I am scared of loud noises. Before he could say anything, I ignored him and got up to leave. Eunha and Han got up to join me and we walked towards the college gate. Felix followed behind and suddenly sprinted to catch up with us. He put his arm around Han's shoulder and looked at me. I couldn't bear to look at him. I looked at Eunha who was looking at Felix with sparkly eyes. I'm jealous. I know I shouldn't be, but I am.
We all said our goodbyes and left in seperate directions and I, like the idiot I am, ran to avoid getting involved with Felix.
What am I going to do?
