A/N
Sweet Adhiambo, is a poem I wrote to appreciate a typical African woman's beauty. I hope you enjoy reading. Don't forget to vote.

They all said,
It would end in premium tears.
Still I  did it again,
Yet it felt like it was the first time.
I almost swam river Nyando
Without a swimming costume,
And I loved every second of it.

I was helpless,
You all know how Adhiambo
Daughter of Okelo is ,
Her body a museum of genius artistry,
Her behind so full and round
My hands itched to touch.

Legs so strong yet long
I wanted to find out myself
Where they end,
Her head bald and clean shaven
It felt good on my fingers.

Lips full I devoured
Till she tasted blood on them.
Her scent sweet and intoxicating
Like that of a well smoked Tilapia.
Her pair of pears
Fit well on my hands as if
It was fated by Nyasaye Himself
I'd mark her.

Her voice deep yet soft ,
Every time she spoke
It came out as a whisper.
Swept my heart away
And made it do triple jumps.
I call her mother of buttered and big words
Yet she rolls them out her mouth so effortlessly.
Mastery of the language she laughs it off.

Her touch
Sent my whole body to cloud nine,
I almost reached the shore without swimming at all,
Sweet Adhiambo,
Don't touch me like that,
Let me put on
My swimming costume first.

N.B

Nyasaye is a lugha word meaning God.
