The Bus

In the night of nights,
When the moon hides away like a shy bride,
And the stars dance to lure her out
My eyes become heavy,
I get this dream,

I am in a bus,
But I don't know where am going.
There are passengers around me.
We come to a stop ,some get in ,
Others go out.
But I never get to my stop.
When I try to get out, something stops me.
I smile at a kid crying nearby and she laughs.
I look at the screen on my phone,
And I see a clown,
Am the  clown, I scream,
And everybody laughs at me.

I try to run and alight the bus,
But am stuck , my feet won't move.
When I lift my foot to take a step ,
They laugh at me,
I try to blow my nose but it's all round like a lollipop.
It freaks me out,
And they keep laughing.
I try to stretch my hand ,
And everybody wants to touch me now .

So I hide under my chair,
But my eyes meet the grumpy old man that never laughs.
He holds onto my eyes,
His lips curve,
Into a thin  line that looks like a smile.
He smiles,
Then laughs,
He laughs even louder,
He is happy.

So I stop hiding .
I stand on my chair,
But there's nobody there,
Just me ,
Smiling ear to ear.
The bus stops,
I  step down.
With a smile.
     HAPPY.
