I was laying on my couch watching Harry Potter when my door flung open. Naturally, I screamed. But thankfully it was just Kirby.
"Don't do that again!" I said, hitting his chest
"Sorry..." He said while laughing and shrugging his shoulders.
He sat down next to me on the couch and I paused the movie.
"What?"
"My mom's coming tomorrow... and she wants to meet you."
"Okay... what time's the game?"
"5:00"
"Bruh of course. I can't come cause of practice" I said falling down onto his lap. "But... but but but... you guys could come here for dinner?"
"I'll ask her." He smiled and whipped out his phone.
Not even a minute later, she responded and he had a huge grin plastered on his face.
"What?" I asked, curious as to why he was smiling so big
"She can come."
"Great! What's her favorite food?"
"Uh... I don't know..."
"How do you not know your mother's favorite food?!"
"I... don't know?"
"Whatever, I'll just make something my grandma always makes that's always a hit."
"And what is that?"
"Probably deep dish and puppy chow for dessert. Is that okay?"
"What the hell is puppy chow?"
"Only the best thing ever! Gosh! I can't believe you don't know!"
"You're ridiculous."
"Whatever. Now be quiet so I can finish watching my boyfriend."
"What do you mean? I'm right here."
"Clearly you have never heard of Cedric Diggory or George Weasley."
"But that's two people."
"Yeah. I guess it's a love triangle then." I said shrugging and turning the movie back on, ignoring the complex look Kirby was giving me. "Are you going to watch with me?"
"I mean, yeah why not."
"Ok, but I better not hear about how tired you're going to be at practice tonight."
"Me? Tired? Pshhh never."
"Now shut up and let me watch my boyfriends. Gosh."
