43. There'll Be No Making Of My Grandchildren On This Couch

Saturday came around and Aaron and I spent the day together. If I could, I would spend every waking moment with him. His mom and sister were out, and so we had the place to ourselves.

But of course, all we did was laze around all day.

At the moment he was lying on the reclined couch with me laying right on top of him, my cheek resting on his chest.

"You're not watching," he chuckled, referring to some British show called Peaky Blinders he insisted I try.

"Yes I am," I lied, scrolling through my social media. It was baffling how so many people thought I was interesting enough to follow.

He snatched my phone out of my hand.

"Hey," I protested. "Aaron."

"Morgan," he teased.

"Can I have my phone?"

He smirked. "Can I get a kiss?"

"No."

He shrugged. "Suit yourself."

"Aaron," I groaned, unable to hide my smile.

I stretched to grab it and he didn't hesitate to turn my cheek and kiss me.

"I hate you."

"Given our position I'd say otherwise," he chuckled.

I really could do this all day.

Why did I feel like I was forgetting something?

"I think I have to go," I said.

"You think?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting something," I explained. "Can't remember what it is."

He chuckled. "Then it really isn't important is it?"

I so badly wanted to stay with him.

I got up, laughing softly. "I guess I'll find out."

I turned to leave, but he took my hand and pulled me back, allowing me to fall onto his chest.

"Aaron."

"Morgan," he teased again.

"Stay with me?"

"Needy aren't we?" I joked.

"That's just what you do to me," he smirked.

My heart was in overdrive when he looked at me like that. I could feel the good energy radiating off him. Surely I'd be doing myself a disservice by going home.

"Fine, you win," I said.

He smiled, and I kissed him. He returned the gesture and soon I dropped my phone and pulled closer, full on making out with him.

"Nah uh, there'll be no making of my grandchildren on this couch."

I immediately pulled away, startled by the voice.

"Mom," Aaron groaned.

April laughed, and I immediately rolled off her son, embarrassed.

Ayana ran in behind her. "Morgan!"

"Uh...hi," I said with a nervous laugh.

April chuckled. "Come on baby, I think Aaron and Morgan want to be left alone right now."

"Oh God," Aaron said before getting up. "Come on Morgan."
