(This has yet to be rewritten.)

As usual, I was the last one to leave the building; the large lights that were built into the ceiling began to close as I made why my way down the hall to the large glass doors in front of me.
I pushed one open and stepped out, taking in a breath of fresh air. The smell of rain present. The wet roads glistened underneath the street lights as I waited at one of them to change so I could walk across the street. I stuffed my hands into my pockets, an unpleasantly cool breeze kissing the back of my neck and causing me to bring my hood up.
Once the light changed I quickly made my way across the damp street.
The bar was hard to miss; it had a very bright red sign and large, white fairy lights that decorated the roof.

I opened one of the wooden doors and pushed my hood down once I was inside, untying my jacket and rolling my eyes when I felt someone pinch the shoulders of my jacket and carefully slide it down my arms, before draping it over their own arm.
I turned around and looked up at a smiling face.

"It's been a while, (Y/n)~ How've you been~?" Hisoka asked, bringing my coat over to the table that I assumed was ours and draping it over my chair. "I'm doing alright, just working here and there." I said, not really caring enough to give any details.

I sat down, crossing my arms and resting my head on them. I was exhausted; I hadn't gotten much sleep last night and today was a long day, for me at least..

"Ah! (Y/n)!"

I looked behind me and noticed Chrollo, his tie loosened and his shirt no longer tucked in his pants.
"I wasn't expecting you to actually show up." he chuckled

"Well, like you said, we both know that I don't have any work to do at home so I thought that I might as well show up." I stated
"Well, I'm glad you did" he handed me a drink and I shook my head.

"No no, I don't really drink." He pursed his lips "Don't worry, this tastes just like juice; you can barely taste the alcohol" he smiled

I rolled my eyes and took the glass. Hisoka sat down to my right and Chrollo to my left, leaving me sitting, uncomfortably, in the middle. After a few agonizing minutes of silence, another man came to our table.
He wasn't very tall, in fact, he was quite short. He kept his hands in the pockets of his dress pants, his black hair falling around his face as his piercing gaze met mine.
"Oh yes. (Y/n), meet Feitan. He is a friend of mine." I heard Chrollo say from beside me as he gestured to the man standing in front of us.

Feitan extended his hand out towards me and I hesitantly shook it, something about him putting me on edge.
"A pleasure to meet you." he said dryly. I nodded and took my hand away from him as soon as possible.

"The others couldn't make it?" I looked at Chrollo, he had a somewhat disappointed look on his face and I realized that he was talking to Feitan.
"Unfortunately, most of them couldn't make it, but Pakunoda is still here."

Pakunoda? Who's that?

I looked back at Feitan, a bored look still plastered on his features. I felt Chrollo tap my arm and I turned to face him. "Pakunoda is also another friend. I hope you don't mind, but before asking you, I thought I'd invite a friend group of mine." he smiled.

I nodded "Oh no, I don't mind at all."

Feitan sat down in front of me, his gaze like a laser on my skin as I took another sip of my drink.
"So, Uh.. How's work Hisoka?" I looked at Hisoka, surprised to see him not smile for once. He pressed his lips together into a line before answering the question.
"It's, honestly, quite disappointing." he sighed

"That's a shame. What about you?" I looked back at Feitan and he raised a brow. Before he could answer, a tall, blonde woman with pointed features walked to the table. She was very slender and wore a formal shirt with a deep neckline, matched with a tight skirt. Her straight hair was cut right at her neck and she wore light, pink lipstick.
Her brown eyes met mine and I couldn't help but envy her long lashes.
"Hello" she smiled, and I found myself liking her already.

"Hi" I said and she set her glass of wine on the table before sitting down beside Feitan. "(Y/n), this is Paku"
"Oh, so you must be Pakunoda" I realized.
"Yes, that's right" she nodded
"It's a pleasure to meet you"
"The pleasure's all mine" she took a sip of her wine and I saw Feitan set his elbow on the table.

"So, (Y/n), what do you do?" he asked. I took another sip of my drink and Chrollo gestured to me.
"She works in the same company that I do, Feitan"

"Ah, I see." He leaned back in his seat, his eyes still not leaving mine. I decided to break my stare and noticed Pakunoda's hand on the table.

"Oh, erm, I like your nails." I said.
She looked down at her hand and smiled "Thank you."
"Mhm, do you like pink?"

"Yes, I am quite fond of that color. And purple as well." she nodded.
"Those are pretty colors" I stated and I heard Chrollo laugh.
I turned my head and pursed my lips.

"What?" I asked. He shook his head and leaned back in his chair. "Oh nothing, it's just fun watching you start a conversation"
I scoffed at him and crossed my arms "Well, sorry for not knowing what else to say."
I felt my heart lift when he laughed again and I couldn't help but smile too.

"So, Feitan, what is your profession~?" I heard Hisoka ask.
"I work as a police officer." Feitan replied and Hisoka leaned forward, crossing his arms on the table. "Is that so? How interesting~"

I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder, causing me to jump a little.
"(Y/n), long time no see."
