"aphmau, i'm sorry. i'm just going through struggles," zane spoke into the phone, pacing back and forth in his room.

"it's okay, i'm here for you. you can talk to me. don't hold it in," aphmau replied.

zane sighed, sitting down on his bed.

"it haven't been easy since mom died. she was my rock, and now ever since she been gone, i just found myself starting to hate everyone and everything."

aphmau smiled softly on the other side of the phone. she noticed the changes in zane. she just wanted zane to tell her.

"i know, zane. it's hard. i remember you was very close to her. it's okay not to be okay."

zane sniffled, "why did she have to go? she didn't deserve it."

aphmau's heart broke at the sound of zane's tone. she wished she could be with zane to give him a hug.

"zane, it will be okay. i'm still here for you. i may not be your mother, but i'm still your best friend."

zane smiled, "thank you aphmau. you're the best."

aphmau smiled, "no you are, zane."

aphmau was just glad to see her friend slowly going back to normal.
