Todoroki stared at the ceiling of his office with a confused look.

'Do you still love her?'

The question from the boy continued to linger in his thoughts.

His first thought was you.

But he didn't quite understood why a boy he had never met before would ask that.

And who did he really mean? You? How?

Perhaps the boy shared a connection with you, was what Todoroki believes.

He sighed in frustration.

Not until a knock was heard by the door.

"Who is it?"

"It's us Todoroki!" Midoriya's voice was heard from behind the door.

The dual-haired man sat properly. "Come in."

The door opened to reveal Kirishima, Midoriya, Bakugou, and Iida.

"Sup! We brought our gifts~"
"Happy birthday again!"

The birthday boy stands up and headed towards them.

"You didn't need to, but thank you."

That was when Iida noticed the look on his friend's face.

"Are you alright?"

"Oh... Yes I am. Just thinking about something." He shrugs.

"Anything happened earlier?"

Kirishima curiously asked while placing down his gift along with Bakugou's.

"Nothing much." He lies. "Just met two kids named Shoma and I think the other is Shoichi."

Midoriya awed. "Shoma is a really nice name! I heard it means finding the truth."

Shoto pauses. Finding the truth? But he shakes his head thinking it was simply a coincidence.

"Actually... They reminded me of Y/N."

They widen their eyes in surprise. Most especially the eyes of one that had the ruby color.

"How so?" Iida asks.

"It's not really something big. But Shoichi, the young boy, asked me something... concerning."

"Which is?" Midoriya asks.

"He asked if I still loved' her'. Without a name—but it felt like he was referring to Y/N."

Their breath hitched, surprised.

Bakugou groaned. "You still not over her after all these years half-n'-half? To the point you'd make up this conspiracy bullshit."

Shoto purses his lips, furrowing his eyebrows at the older male. "I can't. And even if I can, I don't want to."

Kirishima frowns. "Why?"

"I'm scared to move on because moving on means accepting our fate as strangers—and I'd rather be heartbroken than to forget her." He mumbles, looking out onto the window.

"But it's unhealthy... You can't go on like this forever." Midoriya explains, voice stained with worry.

Todoroki clenched his fist and looked down in anger.

"Can't you understand? No matter how many times I tell myself I'm better off without her I just can't let go..." He mumbled in a frustrated way.

Kirishima, Iida and Midoriya looked worried more than ever while the other simply stared with a blank expression.
