Double Update!!

"Hi,"Jennie breathed out, smiling a smile that looked so lovely under the moonlight. It made Lisa feel so warm and had butterflies soaring in her stomach.

"Hi." Lisa replied back just as breathlessly as Jennie. It was like she spoke in utter relief. They stood in silence, just watching eyes that spoke unspoken words. But when Lisa saw Jennie shiver, she didn't hesitate to step to the side and open her door wider, silently inviting Jennie inside. "I'll make us coffee."

Jennie nodded as she quietly made her way inside the house. And as Jennie walked past her, their eyes met for a second before Jennie looked away with a pink blush taking over her cheeks when she took notice of the affection and longing that swam in Lisa's features. Seeing the timid smile Jennie had only grew the warmth in her chest.

Lisa chuckled to herself before following Jennie to the kitchen and watching her tensely seat herself on a chair. The brunette shifted uncomfortably and fiddled with her fingers that laid on her lap. Her eyes continued to wander around, never landing on Lisa's amused eyes.

But the amusement lessened from the sight of goosebumps prickling Jennie's arms. She arrived wearing nothing but her light blue jeans (jeans that made her hips look way too good that it felt illegal) and a thin white t shirt paired with her favorite worn out sneakers.

"Want to borrow a hoodie?" Lisa asked softly, almost like she scared to speak loudly, hoping that her own voice wouldn't cause Jennie to run away again. She doesn't want to ever have to see that again, especially when she was the person Jennie was running away from.

Jennie rubbed her hands up and down her arms as finally met Lisa's eyes. Her eyes scanned Lisa's with something light, something soft. Again, it was something unspoken and readable for the both. She nodded with a calm, pretty smile,

"If you don't mind," she says, just as calmly as her eyes looked maybe a hint of shyness as well. The look Lisa was sending previously must have stayed because she was slowly graced with a light caress of pink on Jennie's cheeks once again. And, when Jennie placed a strand behind her ear, the tips of it had an obvious blush.

Lisa smiled, "Of course I don't mind," she reassured. "There's one laying on my bed. You can go put it on while I make us some coffee." Jennie nodded once again as she stood up. Lisa watched Jennie make her way out but suddenly stop. With a perked eyebrow, Lisa continued to watch curiously as Jennie glanced a look her way, only for her blush to deepen. And, when Jennie suddenly rushed out, Lisa laughed quietly to herself.

That girl is too cute for her own good.

After a few moments, Lisa was staring down at her coffee, watching the spoon stir over and over again in silence. She was anxious for sure. She knew the talk was going to happen, and from the sight of Jennie slowly walking in with her over sized, yellow hoodie, she knew she was going to make the talk happen.

Her finger tips peaked out from the sleeves, and she just looked so small and soft and Lisa was sure her heart was exploding into oblivion from it.

She didn't know when she was now standing in front of the brunette. Lisa never even noticed her hand placing the mug down or when her feet started moving. But, she didn't care.

She didn't care for her worries. All she cared about was Jennie and with the way Jennie stared at her so warmly. The brunette shyly looked down and played with the ends of her sleeves,

"I hope this hoodie was okay to wear. I know it wasn't the one that was laying on your bed but it's just-"

"Your favorite, yeah, I remembered," She said in a low whisper. Jennie flinched but stayed rooted. She made a move to look up at her and Lisa could clearly hear her take in a sharp breath. They stood close.

And, Lisa couldn't help it.

From the way Jennie looked at her with a twinkle in her eyes to her lovely, sweet scent, Lisa had a need to just hold her. So, she did just that.

In an instant, Lisa wrapped her arms around Jennie and pulled her flush against her body, no longer caring if the girl felt how fast her heart was beating.

"I missed you," Lisa whispered, closing her eyes and loving the way Jennie slid her arms around Lisa's waist and buried her face in the crook of her neck. Where she belonged, in Lisa's arms. She could feel Jennie's hands gripping the back of her shirt tightly, trembling as if she was afraid to let go.

Lisa had buried her face in Jennie's hair when Jennie said, "I missed you too. So much," she said against the skin of Lisa's neck causing her to shiver from the brush of her lips. "I'm sorry," Jennie whimpered. Lisa pulled back to stare down at her sad face. Her eyes looked red, as if it was ready to unlock tears and Lisa hated it. She hates when Jennie's sad.

"Don't be." Lisa slid her hands up and down Jennie's arms comfortingly, wanting to warm the girl up. Jennie shook her head and gripped onto Lisa's shirt even tighter. Her eyes held desperation,

"But, I am Lis. I'm just so stupid and you're just so damn wonderful and amazing and perfect and I ..." Jennie let out a sigh of exasperation as she buried her face back into the crook of Lisa's neck, "I'm just so sorry for ignoring you and for everything before that." Lisa sighed and pulled her back gently, just to gaze into her favorite pair of eyes again,

"How about this, lets drink our coffee first to warm you up okay?" Lisa said, reaching forward to push Jennie's hair back, brushing her finger tips on her ear, loving the way it turned pink under her soft stare. It had Jennie staring up at her with the same kind of affection.

"And then we talk?" Jennie shyly asked, head tilting closer to Lisa's touch and shivering from the caress on the shell of her ear. Lisa smiled and leaned forward to brush the tip of her nose with Jennie's, giggling as the older one scrunched her nose up cutely.

"And then we talk."

Jennie finally smiled a smile that reached her eyes.

Perfection.
