Izuku was sprawled out on the sofa, his back to the cushions with his legs hung over the armrest. He had been flipping through a pile of random books, searching for one that caught his interest.

He lost himself this way, holding a book over his face and kicking his legs over the arm of the sofa for he didn't know how long. A book was eventually found, and he spent the next hour reading and getting lost in yet another romance novel.

He lost track of time, per usual when he picked up a good book and didn't realize it was closing time. At least, not until Katsuki popped up, hovering over him with a sharp grin. He dropped the book with a startled yelp, and it smacked him in the face. He was just glad he didn't kick his legs out. At this angle, he would have landed a harsh blow to the Alpha and damaged any future chances at pups.

"You scared me! Don't sneak up on people. My heart is going to explode!" Izuku had already shoved the book of his face and was lying there pouting up at his mate.

Katsuki laughed softly at Izuku's floundering. It was cute to watch his eyes flicking back and forth between the words he was reading, even cuter when the book landed on his face. In Katsuki's mind, it was payback for every embarrassing thing he managed to do in front of his mate.

"So, dinner?" Katsuki smirked. "I'm ready to see this diner you mentioned." He leaned down and kissed the Omega softly. The silence of the closed library around them relaxed the Alpha. It had been yet another long and stressful day. So far, college was trying its best to kick his fucking ass.

"Or do you want to scent your dorm room first? It's up to you. Kiri was here about fifteen minutes ago or so. He still hasn't landed that date with Kaminari. He's slower than I thought when it comes to someone he actually likes. Then again, I didn't even know he was sexually active, let alone into men," Katsuki frowned. He couldn't help but wonder if he really even knew his best friend after all. "I guess everyone has their secrets, huh?"

Izuku couldn't help but smile, forgetting all about the book-to-the-face incident from moments before. He sat up and stretched. Dinner sounded amazing, and like the perfect opportunity to have another date together.

"Dinner first, then dorm," he stood up, readjusting his bunched up clothes from sprawling on a sofa for hours. He put the books back on their shelves before following Katsuki upstairs.

"I can't believe Kirishima won't just ask Kaminari out. He seems so confident," he reached out and laced his fingers with the Alpha's while walking out of the library after he locked up.

"Kaminari definitely likes him! You should have seen it. I just mentioned Kirishima's name and he blushed and started releasing his scent. It was adorable," he cooed and swung their arms between them as they walked.

"I really don't know how Kaminari will react if Kirishima keeps hanging out with Shindou though. I couldn't imagine you having an Omega friend that you slept with, and still hanging out with, while dating me," his face scrunched up at the thought.

"I mean, I can tell he likes Kirishima. I mean his whole demeanor around the subject screams 'breed me, Alpha. I'm ready'. I have no clue why they don't just get together already." Izuku babbled on, swinging their hands and blindly following his mate around campus. The Omega kept them on track towards the café, though.

"I'm rambling — I've been sitting still for too long," he laughed lightly. "They would be cute though, right?" Izuku grinned up at Katsuki. He already had the best Alpha out there, but Kirishima was a catch — other than his annoying mess-making habits. Kaminari would balance him out well.
