Broken Ties.

Part 1

A beautiful girl was crossing the street one day when suddenly a car came out of nowhere, she fell down in fear. But the car didn't actually hit her. It stopped with a screeching halt. A man dressed in formals came out od the car.
Man: I am sorry, aapko lagi to nahi. Actually office se important call aa gaya tha  baat karte karte dhyaan ni diya maine.
She raised herself to look at him. Siddharth immediately recognized her. He has seen her various times at night teaching some children in an isolated road that he crosses everyday while going home.
Girl: It's okay sir. Mujhe lagi nahi aapne sahi waqt pe car ko rok liya.
Man: Don't call me sir please. I'm Siddharth.
Girl: I am Himanshi.
Sid: Sorry Himanshi, tumhe drop kar doon main?
Himanshi: Nahi aap meri fikr mt kijiye main chali jaungi. Mera ghr yhi pas me hi h
Siddharth didn't know why but he felt a connection with her. She reminded him of his sister Divya. She looked so sweet and pretty. But her eyes spoke volumes. As if she's only faking this happiness for the world. He didn't even know her but felt bad for her.
Siddharth: Okay. I'm still sorry.
Himanshi smiled and said "It's okay".

1 week later:
For that week everyday when Siddharth crossed that street,he would see Himanshi and smile at her. But one day when he was crossing the road he saw two men fighting with her.
He stopped his car and went there.
Siddharth: Ye kya ho raha hai?
Himanshi: Bhaiya dekho na ye log keh rahe hai main bachchon ko yahan nahi padha sakti.
Siddharth: Kyun nahi padha sakti ye inhe yahan?
Man1: Sarkar k road hai iske baap ka nahi ki jab man kiya bachchon ki bheed laga ke padhane lage.
Man2: aur nahi to kya.
Sid: To ye baat ap tameez se bhi to bol sakte hai. Aurat se baat karne ki tameez hai nahi aur yahan khade hokar humein law sikha rahe ho. Jao yahan se
They got kinda scared and went from there.
Sid: Are you okay? Unhone kuch kiya to nahi na?
Himanshi: Nahi bhai,thanks to you. Aap nahi aate to pata ni main kaise handle karti.
Sid: Hogyi padhai?
Himanshi: Haan main bas inhe ghar hi bhej rahi thi aur khud bhi nikal rahi thi.
Sid: Come i'll drop you.
Himanshi: Nahi bhaiya, main chali jaungi really.
Siddharth: Himanshi, bhai bolti ho na. To us rishte se main apni behen ko itni raat me is sunsan ilake me akele nahi chhor sakta. Chalo. Apne bhai ko mana karogi?
Himanshi: Aapne to emotional kar diya mujhe. Chaliye.
And they went and sat in his car.
Siddharth: Don't mind. But tum is time bachchon ko kyun padhati ho aur wo bhi road pe?
Himanshi: Bhaiya,mujhe bachchon ko padhana bohot pasand hai. Ye wo bachchein hain jinke maa baap inki padhai ka kharcha kisi achhe school me afford nahi kar pate because of their financial condition. But main inhe education de skti hoon. Atleast utni jitni mujh se ho sake. And these kids you know bohot bright bachche hai. Sabko padhne ka bohot shauk hai. Aur jab god ne mujhe is capable banaya hai ki main logo ki help kar sakun to main zarur karna chahungi.
He was touched by her words. He couldn't believe that a girl so young has such a mature mind.
Siddharth: You are working for a great cause Himashi. Wow. But i have a proposal for you.
Himanshi: What?
Siddharth: Tumhe ek week ke liye teaching chhorni hogi.
Himanshi: Kyun?
Siddharth: Kyunki yahan paas me maine bohot pehle ek chhoti si zameen khareedi thi bohot pehle par kabhi use me nahi aayi wo. Main waha ek room aur washroom bnwa dunga fie tum araam se pdhana bchchon ko.
Himanshi was happy and surprised.
Himanshi: Bhai aapko mere liye itna kuch karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Main....
Sid interrupted her.
Sid: Main ye tumhare liye nahi un bachchon ke liye kar raha hoon. Itne achhe cause ke liye agar main kuch help kar skta hun to i'll be honoured.
Himanshi: Mera ghar aane wala hai bas.
Siddharth: Oh thik hai.
He stopped the car. Himanshi got out.
Himanshi: Thank you Bhaiya. See you again.Bye. Stay safe.
Siddharth: Bye take care.And himanshi?
Himnshi turned and said: yes
Siddharth: Tumhe kabhi bhi kisi cheez ki zaroorat  ho mujhe bas ek baar call kar dena.
Himanshi was really very happy to listen that. No one has ever said anything like that to her.
Himanshi: Ji.
She smiled at him.
He smiled at her and drove home.
Himanshi went inside.
Her aunt Rohini: Aa gayi maharani. Itni raat tak kahan ghum rahi thi.
Himanshi didn't say anything and walked up straight to her room
Bhavya: Ye kya bolegi mom. Un third class bachchon ke sath time spend kar ke ye aur cheap ho gayi hai. Pehle to thi hi. Ab aur ho gayi hai.
Himanshi closed the door of her room. A tear fell down from her eyes. But she used to listen these things every day and today didn't bother her. Also she was very happy because of what Siddharth has told her. She thought that after her parents she has actually found someone whom she can trust.
