Everything you did annoyed him. Now that you and Jiro could finally date for real, you had been over at the Yamada household a lot and each time you were, Saburo found something new he hated about you. Ever since your first visit he had among other things realized you would always laugh at anything both him and Ichiro would say whenever they were trying to make you laugh, no matter how stupid it could be. He also realized that whenever he was playing videogames as you and Jiro entered the house, you would instantly run to see what it was he was playing.

However, at times it seemed like you laughed more truthfully when it was he who had said something funny. Could this just have been his imagination though? Saburo also caught himself playing videogames more often during the afternoon in hopes of you coming over that specific day. It annoyed him. You annoyed him. He often told himself he hated you, although that was too big of a lie for him to be able to convince himself. In fact, finding you annoying was too big of a lie as well.

The truth was, every time he got to see you, he found something new he didn't notice before, something that made him like you even more.

You probably weren't laughing more truthfully at his jokes, but he hoped more than anything that you were. He hoped you would one day decide to ditch Jiro and come play videogames with him instead. You were not annoying; the fact that you belonged to his stupid older brother was. The fact that he could never have you, no matter what happened was. The fact that he had to sit and watch in silence as Jiro made you laugh more truthfully than anyone else was what made him so annoyed. He couldn't take it anymore.

"It's fine, honestly! But didn't you try to get out of it?" Saburo flinched as he heard your voice coming out of Jiro's room. He had gotten used to it by now, so much so that he was convinced it was constantly playing in his head. However, hearing it in real life was a whole other experience. "Well, I tried using Saburo as an excuse, but he wouldn't listen!" Saburo's mood worsened as he heard his older brother mention his name.

"Saburo?"

For a second, Saburo thought he melted into the couch where he was currently playing videogames. He cursed himself mentally for being so weak, but hearing your voice call out his name like that made him forget about everything else. He sighed as he paused the game and slithered down the couch on his back like the melted pool of MC.L.B that he was. When his butt touched the floor he instantly stood up, readjusting his clothes in the process.

"Yeah, y'know... I tried to tell him that I promised my younger brother that I would play videogames with him that night, but I think I've used that excuse too much now..." finally, it had come. The long awaited opportunity for Saburo to sneak himself into yours and Jiro's conversation without making himself seem suspicious. "Hah?! Why the hell have you been using me as an excuse?!"

Saburo tried his best to hide his smile as he saw how taken by surprise you and Jiro had been as you were exiting his room. However, he failed as you gave him one of your heart-warming smiles as a form of greeting. Why were you so pretty to him? Finding you beautiful might be the only thing he will ever agree with Jiro on, apart from maybe who's the best older brother.

"It's not actually affecting you, so there shouldn't be a problem. Besides, it didn't even work this time." Jiro looked at Saburo as if whatever had happened was his fault. "Why did you need an excuse anyway?" he would be lying again if he said he wasn't curious, and it would also give him more time to talk to you. "One of my homies-" Saburo snickered, earning a tense but understanding look from you which was enough to make him shut up. "-told me he needed me to join him at something where you basically get set up with someone-"

Saburo cut him off again, but this time with a different reaction. "Obviously you can't go!" there was obvious frustration in his voice, but when he realized how quickly and strongly he had reacted, as well as yours and Jiro's confused stares, he backed down equally as quick. "Well, yes... obviously..." Jiro's tone matched his stare. "But she keeps saying I should go!" he pointed dramatically at you. "What?! Why would you do that?!" suddenly it was Saburo's turn to be confused.
