Chapter 8 Gennin Exams

After hearing the truth from the Hokage, Shikamaru, Chouji, Kiba, Shino, Sasuke, Ino and Hinata went to Naruto's house. They told Naruto that they know everything and they'll always be there for him which made his dull eyes shine a beautiful bright blue again. After everything, they started to hang out with each other more and Naruto was happier than before. It was morning, the sun was shining bright through the window of Naruto's apartment and on his face warming it up. 'It's so bright, I can't sleep. It's so annoying'. thought Naruto. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at his alarm clock, 8:45AM. He then closed his eyes but then quickly opened them and got up and realized he was late to class. He quickly got dressed and ate, then he put his blue shinobi sandals and ran out of his apartment and headed to school. He was jumping on roofs of buildings and was thinking,

"Damn it! I can't be late today. It's the Gennin exams and I refuse to fail again this year. I refuse to fail because my stupid old alarm clock won't wake me up."  lucky for Naruto, he just made it in time. He burst through his classroom door and saw Iruka-sensei and Mizuki-sensei about to begin the Gennin exams. Iruka looked at Naruto and said,

"Naruto, please sit down we are about to begin the exams right now." Naruto ran up the walk way and sat down in his seat next to the window alone.

"Alright these are the exams you will take: Paper test, Shuriken, Taijutsu and the last test is ninjutsu in the test room." said Iruka-sensei.

Naruto POV:

Alright, I'll definitely pass this year for sure. I know I'll probably fail at paper test but  I'm sure I'll pass in the other ones. I'm so exited to become a Gennin like everyone else, I defeinitely can't fail this year. 

Sasuke POV

I can see the dobe is exited, he really looks like he wants to pass. I hope he does and we'll be on the same team. I honestly be happy if he's on my team if we both pass. I'll be able to see his blue eyes on every mission we do together if we pass and if we're on the same team. But, I can't be sure that we'll both pass though.

Sasuke POV

I went in and easily pass the test. These tests are too easy, I'm not worried about these tests for myself but I'm worried for the blondie. He doesn't seem like he's doing well. I'm still feeling bad about beating him in taijutsu before. I really didn't want to hurt him at all but I also can't go easy on him and I won anyways. Right now, I'm outside the classroom in the school yard with my headband on waiting for the graduation. I hope the dobe also passes.

"Alright lastly, Naruto come in the test room for your test." said Iruka- sensei. Naruto went in and Iruka-sensei said, "Please do the clone jutsu.". Naruto was dying inside, he froze the second Iruka-sensei said "clone jutsu". It was the jutsu he sucked at the most. 'Damn. Why does it have to be the clone jutsu again this year? I suck at the clone jutsu and they know it.'  thought Naruto. Naruto did the hand sign for the clone jutsu and said "Clone jutsu!", a messed up clone of him appeared. Iruka sighs and said, 

"Naruto fail.". Naruto was extremely sad that he failed again this year. 

"Come on Iruka, he technically was able to make a clone. All he needed to do was make a clone and he did. " said Mizuki a teacher with white hair. Naruto nodded in agreement and said,

"Yeah Iruka-sensei! Please let me pass.". 

"I know he did make a clone Mizuki, but others could make about 2-4 clones. He barely made one as well. I cannot let him pass." said iruka to Mizuki, Naruto immediately saddened when he heard that. Then, Iruka turned to Naruto and said, 

"I'm sorry Naruto, but I'm not changing my mind. You still fail. See you again next year Naruto.". Naruto was sad and angry, he stormed out the test room and went outside to the school yard.

Sasuke POV

I'm in the school yard and currently waiting for the dobe to come out, I heard that he went last, I'm sure he's suppose to come out anytime now. I'm so exited to see if he passed or not, i hope he did, I don't wanna leave him behind but I can't do anything if he fails, but I'm sure he passed. I saw a bit of blonde hair step out of the door to the school yard. 'It's the dobe!' I shouted in my head. He came out and he didn't have a headband on. My mood quickly shifted from happy to sad.

'He failed...'
