Hope POV

I had talked somewhat to Dani about what our little matchmaker was talking about. We decided we both wanted to take it slow because the whole family had taken a hit, but she lost her husband and I lost my brother.

We decided we were just going to strengthen our friendship and if a relationship comes out of it, then great. If it doesn't then at least we are still good friends, but I really hope something happens. I have been in love with this girl since I first laid eyes on her.

We are still laying in Addie and Alex's bed talking when I decide I can't take it anymore. Dani was non stop flirting with me and I couldn't help but smile at how much she blushed when I flirted back.

"Hopey? Hopey are you even listening to me? God I knew I shouldn't have flirted. I was the one that said to take things slow, but here I am flirting. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." Dani spewed out.

Before she could talk again I interrupted her, "Nell, shut up."

Her eyes widened, "I-"

I interrupted her again, "Shut up so I can kiss you." I told her while grabbing her hips so she was sitting on top of me. I smiled softly at her and I could tell her face was burning. I grabbed the baby hairs at the base of her neck before connecting our lips together.

The hand that wasn't holding her hair was exploring all over her clothed body. God I wish there wasn't clothes there, but it's probably better if we don't have sex yet and especially not in the queens bed.

She licked my lip to try and gain access to my mouth, but I didn't let her. I instead quickly sucked onto her tongue before forcing my tongue into her mouth. She let out low moans into my mouth and at one point started grinding her hips onto my legs.

I knew we needed to stop before it got too heated, but I couldn't pull away. It wasn't until I heard the door open and a loud gasp. Dani must have heard it too because she quickly got off of my lap and onto the bed.

Looking to see who it was and it was my worst fear. Alex, Addie, and Savannah had just caught me making out with Alex's sister in their bed. What's worse is poor little Savannah had to see that too.

I think what shocked everyone in the room is when Savannah started smiling and clapping. "Dey toget'er now wight mommy an momma??"

I looked frantically at everyone in the room, but no one said anything. I guess it was my job to speak up. "It's nothing official as of yet," I started out and looked over to Dani to make sure. She smiled and gave me a small head nod. "I know you're little right now, but no one other than the people in this room know. We want to kind of figure things out for ourselves. Do you think you can help us do that by not telling anyone?" I continued.

Savannah smiled a little and nodded. "On one condish, condict," she stumbled on her words.

"Condition?" I asked her with a little grin and she nodded.

"On one condition. You 'pend rest day wit me!" She squealed and everyone in the room laughed.

I nodded, "Yeah yeah. Watcha want to do then?"

She tapped her chin while trying to think and I couldn't help but grin at the action. She walked over to the bed to get closer to me. "I wanna make my mommies a gift. Dey were weally scared when I was gone." She whispered.

I smiled at how big the heart is on this little girl. "I think I can arrange that. But we were all scared honey, so we are happy you are back." I whispered right back.

I stood up and started wheeling her out of the room when both of her moms stopped me. I realized what I did and had to take a deep breath.

I pushed Savannah a little farther away so she couldn't hear me spoil her plans. I then turned to her moms. "I am so sorry, I just realized what I did. Savannah wants to make you a surprise gift or something and so I was just going to leave trying to keep it a surprise but then I realized I need to tell you where I'm going."

They both smiled kindly at me, "Please and thank you," Addie responded.

"Well she doesn't know really what she wants to do yet, so I think I'm going to take her to the play room where all the crafts are. If you want, I can take Dani with me. I know you guys might not trust anyone in my family right now." I told them truthfully.

Alex gave me a little hug, "We trust you, but please do take Dani with you. Not because we want someone to keep an eye out, but I want you two to spend some time together. I know it's going to be hard on Dani and she'll need you to lean on." I nodded and smiled at them before telling Dani to follow.

I wheeled Savannah out of the room and Dani quickly caught up to us. She put her arm around one of mine and I smiled at the action before kissing her forehead. We finally made it to the craft room when I stopped Savannah's chair and put on the breaks.

I carefully lifted her out of the chair and into one of the craft table's chairs. "What we doin' in here aunt hopey?" Savannah asked sweetly.

I sat down next to her and Dani sat down on the other side, "Well hopefully being in here will help you with an idea on what do for them." I told her and she nodded her head.

She thought for a minute but let out a frustrated sigh. "I no know."

Dani ran her fingers through Savannah's hair, "You don't know sweetie?"

Savannah shook her head no, so Dani came up with the idea of a card first. Savannah agreed so we got out all the supplies she wanted and she made a card that was kind of legible. It was basically a lot of hearts and 'I love yous', which was sweet.

After the card though, it was like a lightbulb went off. "I make dem a voucher!"

"A voucher?" I questioned and she nodded her head quickly.

"Yeah! A voucher for a date night! I has the cooks make their favorite foods and den dey can have the bed to demselves. If it ok, I s'eep wit you or Dani dat night? I till has nightmares and my room connected with deirs." She said and I couldn't help but gush about how sweet she is.

"I think we can arrange that. What are some of their favorite foods? I can text the chefs so they have it on standby for whenever your mommies want to redeem their voucher." I told her and she quickly started rattling off food. Luckily I had my phone out already, so I typed everything in quickly. We spent the rest of the afternoon together just laughing and drawing different things.

It was nice to see Savannah so happy again, but it was also nice seeing Nell so carefree and happy as well.
