Chapter 13 ( Friends)

Selene's POV :
Funny how when you grow feelings for someone you met only for a few days and end up being heartbroken. I choose to love Eric for who he is but he didn't feel the same way. In fact he never had feelings for me. He considered me only as a friend . How lucky the moon goddess is! I envy her the most. I think both of them are a good match!

Him and I belong to separate worlds. No matter how much I want him to be my side , his heart belong to some other woman. At this point, I came up with the conclusion that from today onwards I'll try my best to stay away from him . I should never meet him.

I somehow managed to ignore him yesterday night at the camp. I'm afraid if I would be able to continue this any further. Ughh I'm just tired of this. But I simply can't ruin my education for this lovesickness thing.  Days passed within a blink . I didn't spend any extra time in the university other than the classes. I became a whole different person since the night on the camp. Also I took the initiative to transfer my further courses in a different university as I'll be shifting to 'A' city the next month. Everyday seems to be depressive, frustrating and uncomfortable here. I can't even focus on my studies. This isn't how my life should continue. I'm not from a rich family as him. I need to run myself.

Ughh I only wanted to sleep for 5 more minutes yet the whole universe doesn't want me to be in peace. Anyways I got up from bed, rushed to the loo and freshened up. I wore my favourite grey top pairing with a jeans and my overcoat since it's cold outside. I was 100 percent aware that I'll be scolded today as it's already the class time yet I'm not being active by doing the activities swiftly. I brushed my hair gently and didn't tied it up  cause I was being way too lazy. I gazed at my wrist and saw its already 9:30 am when my class starts at 9:00. Oh god I'm doomed. I grabbed a bread and rushed to the campus.

Classroom :

"May I come in Mrs. Nina ( the teacher) ?" I  raised my voice a little frightened.

" Selene ! What time is it? Do you consider my class as your gym class? " Our math teacher shouted at me.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Nina. This won't happen again." I replied.

"Come in." She ordered in a deep furious tone.

The whole class was staring at me. I felt so embarrassed as I entered the classroom.

"You stupid chick! Why are you so late today? " Sarah whispered to me as the class was still going on.

"I don't know! I just..." I stuttered.

"Alright, alright. Sit now ." She  (Sarah) said.

I sat at the window side. Cause I particularly don't like to sit in the middle as it's way too stuffy. The teacher didn't pause for a second. She kept lecturing the whole class. I was bored to death. I just wanted to keep my eyes open reluctantly. As I gazed outside the window, I saw the atmosphere looked festive. I wonder if the seniors or other batches were having any occasion.

"Hey Sarah! Why is it so decorated and crowded outside? Are there any occasion on the campus?" I whispered to Sarah.

" Of course you Dumbo ! Have you forgotten it's 17 th of December!!?" Sarah said in a careful low pitched tone.

"So...?" I said.

"What so...?" She (Sarah) replied.

"Idiot it's the final year of class 'S' ! They are having a farewell party! Eric that handsome fellow has graduated today! Have you forgotten it !" Sarah whispered to my ears while hitting my head.
