ERIC's POV :

I went down in order to follow her. It's not safe for a girl to go home all alone by herself at night. Of course I'm very vexed with Dacota's attitude towards Selene. I got into my matte black textured McLaren 650s and followed her covertly. 🌓🌒🌙🌘

She lived in a three story building which seem to have a reasonable rental. I immediately went home as soon as I assured her reaching home safely. 🌔🌜

As I got freshen up, I grabbed a glass  half filled with burgundy wine and went to the balcony. The moon was alluring just as her. I can't define how overwhelmed I felt when I saw her for the first time in 4 years. The moment her head collided mine I could feel her soft gentle breath against mine. She seemed fragile than before. But I definitely can't interfere in her personal life as she's just a reincarnation. She doesn't know anything about the past. I'm probably a stranger in her eyes.

Selene's POV :

(The following day)

Haaa... I really so sleepy today. I couldn't sleep the whole night yesterday because I encountered Eric. It's like a massive dream came true. How can a person be this handsome!? He didn't changed at all . Did he found his lover? Ughh every time the thought of the moon goddess strikes my mind I get nuts. I grabbed an empty page on my desk in the office, opening the lid of the pen and began to scratch the empty paper with the fullest pressure I possibly can. 🌓🌔

"Ughhh you stupid woman... just get out of my sight." I muttered to myself enviously definitely pointing his lover.

Suddenly someone thumped my desk interrupting my activities. My eyebrows furrowed as I looked up to see the person irritating me. 🌜🌔🌒

"This is a workplace not your home. Pay more attention to the tasks you're assigned for!" Dacota raised her thick arrogant voice.

"Sorry. This won't happen again." I stood up as soon as I saw her , faking an apology.

She walked arrogantly straight towards her compartment without uttering a single word . 🌙🌛

"Who the hell she think she is! She is clearly not the boss. She behaved rudely with me the last night as well. If not for the stupid debt I would throw my resignation form right away to her ugly face.." I muttered to myself sitting back to my desk chair.

Oh no it's the time ! I bought a cup of ice americano and went to the boss's room. Wait the boss's room? Oh god yesterday I was so immersed in the thought of encountering Eric that the fact about him owning the company and being the boss slipped out of my mind. What do I do now? How can he be my boss? How am I supposed to talk to him when I already bad mouthed to him about him without being aware that he was actually the boss. Moreover he didn't stopped me in doing so. I feel so embarrassed that I want to dig the ground and bury myself alive right away. I don't have the face to face him. Uhh I hate myself. Okay no more thoughts. As I stepped on the hell i should face the consequence by being responsible.🌒🌚🌓🌜🌔🌙🌘🌝

"Come in". Eric raised his thick masculines voice coldly.🌜

"Here's your Iced Americano." I didn't have the guts to look at his face as he wasn't a classmate this Time. He is the boss. I looked down keeping the mug of coffee in his table  , planning to run away from his room. 🌙

"Eric why didn't you receive my calls yesterday! Why did you throw a cold face to me! What was that for? EXPLAIN!!" Dacota's rude voice was raised out of nowhere .🌔🌜

Even though she's in a higher position than me but how can she talk to Eric in that attitude. I mean he's the boss! She didn't even knock the door. Isn't she an employee as well? Rules are equal for everyone. Ahh that crazy bitch...🌔🌚

"Don't bother me. Just leave!" Eric raised his arrogant voice pointing Dacota.

"I won't! What are you standing for? Leave!" Dacota yelled at me for no reason.😁🌗

Ahh that bitch I can't even scream back to her. 🌒🌙

"Enough!" Eric's voice was more deep and louder this time as he was grabbing the glass of water tightly and making it to break off with his hand forcefully.

Oh no !! He is clearly out of his mind. Did he forgot about his identity? The injury in his hand will quickly heal unlike human as he is a monster. In order to conceal the truth from Dacota's view I grabbed his (Eric's) hand which was bleeding and immediately went to the infirmary in his office. 🌓🌓🌘

As we reached the infirmary I quickly released his hand.🌑🌚🌜

"Hey are you out of your mind! You are almost caught if I wasn't there!" I whispered to him panicking .🌝🌛🌙

"Worry about yourself first!" He raised his ice cold voice and left the infirmary.

Woahh . I was clearly being nice to him . Ahh that arrogant glutton. Dacota and him match so well. Their temper are so alike. 🌔🌛

Eric's POV :

I went back to my room as spending a single second with Selene will drag me more towards her.

She's like the sweet wine, the more you sip the more you want!

"Does the newbie girl knows you?" Screamed Dacota.

"Drop the matter". I replied.

"Woah ! You're being weird! C'mon Eric ! Does she know that you're not a human? Why did she..." Dacota continued.

"Just stop it ! I don't Feel well today. I'm leaving early, take care of the stuffs on my behalf" . I pat her shoulder and left.

"You're ignoring me !" Her yelling was audible.

Dacota knows my identity other than Selene. She is the one who took care of me when I barely controlled myself over the 4 years. Even though she is just an ordinary human and she knows my identity as a demon she didn't turned her back from me. Instead all these years she took a great care of me and taught me to be more calm and gentle. I'm really thankful to her for making me a better myself. We became good friends over years.

So I kinda talk more casually to her.

Dacota's POV :

What exactly is wrong with that weirdo!? Did I offended him somehow? Does he knows Selene? Whatever. Even if he knows Selene, I'm always the better person for him. I loved him for all these years. It's just that I never had the courage to confess him.

I think I ruined his mood by being way too Naggy . I better be responsible for the mistakes I made so far.  Wait the fact that 'S' company , the only capable rival of Moonstruck is invited to the party that is arranged by our company .
I better make preparations . If Eric sees any deviation he will definitely not spare me.
