Poem 14

"Promise"

I hate promising things,
I hate saying promise to my close ones
I like to keep others promise
But it's hard to tell someone a promise.

Since I was young,
I regret promising one thing
Just for my best friend,
I hated myself after that

I promised that I will always be by her side,
I will never leave her,
I was supposed to say that I'll go somewhere,
Somewhere far from here.

It's really hard for me to do it,
But in these past years,
I controlled my tears that were about to run down into my cheeks,
I handle myself to let it pass.

After that, I felt relieved
I don't feel any pain,
My heart doesn't ache anymore,
I'm alright now, just then, this happens.

After that broken promise,
I felt the same as today
Someone promised to me
That she'll never leave me

I like her
I don't want her to let go
We've been in 5 months
I like the way she is.

No one can stop you from loving each other,
If you truly love someone, fight for them
Don't let them down,
thinking they're alone
That's ungrateful to do

Love isn't the way you love someone,
By physical or mental, no
You accept that person in your life
Be happy about it

Gender doesn't exist in the world of love
If you're a girl, and you got a boy,
Be together
You like each other

If you're a girl and another girl,
Or if you're a boy and got a man,
Don't be shy with it
Show them that you can keep them

Sometimes, they're ups and downs in our relationship,
But we're just starting
I don't want to let her go,
I don't want her to be alone

I want to cherish her,
Love her the way she is.
I don't care about what people say,
No one can ruin it

I want her to be with me,
All the time, talking and chatting with her.
That makes my good mood shine

I like her so much,
I don't want others to get her away from me
Until this, some things happen
That can make our relationship stop

But now, I'll still wait for her
Even though we don't have communication
for now,
These tears I shed is useless,
Nothing will happen just to trust

I hope she's in a good term,
I always wonder her,
I hope she does too,
Like I do

Be safe, I don't want her to be sick
Be healthy unlike me
Keep our promise as a treasure
Treasure that you will do in the future.
