Poem 18

"Sun"

I was your moon
That brings light on your darkest times,
But why did you choose the sun over me?

I was the coffee you need in the morning,
But why did you skip it for something?

I'm here at all times,
Yet, you chose all those stars

I feel betrayed,
But nothing can change it.

You decided to let me go,
Why won't I learn to move on

It's been a year and a half since you went missing,
And still, all those memories are what I've been missin'

Remember those little things we'd done.
I hope you're healed and gone.
Still, I want you to smile when you heard my name
And say, 'she was different from them'
