Clara and I finished up breakfast, and I took her back to her house with the promise we could have a movie day in our pajamas.

As soon as we walked into the house she bolted upstairs to change into her pajamas. I walked into the living room to find Lucas sitting on the couch, "Hey." he said casually as I walked over and handed him the to-go container with his breakfast.

I wasted no time pulling out my makeup bag and getting to work, "What the hell do you think you're doing princess?" he asked as I pulled out my color-corrector and concealer.

"I'm about to make your shiner look a hell of a lot better than it does right now." I said.

"Oh no. You are not putting that shit on my face." he said, looking like he was ready to run.

I gave him a look, "Do you want to scare Clara?" I asked, knowing I would win with that argument, "because that's what you'll do if she sees that bruise as it is now. So let me do this before she gets back down here." I said.

He sighed and conceded, sitting back on the couch, letting me apply the makeup. I worked quickly, and the bruise was barely noticeable when I was done. I smirked and pulled out a compact mirror, letting him see for himself.

"Damn. Not bad princess. I take it you have experience covering up shiners?" he questioned.

I just shrugged and put the compact back in my bag, "Don't worry about it." I replied, to which he rolled his eyes at.

"One of these days I will learn all of your secrets." he said.

I didn't answer as I put my makeup bag back in my duffel bag, "I told Clara we could have a movie day on the couch. You staying or going?" I asked.

"I think I'm just gonna go for a three mile run, actually." he said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes and chucked one of the pillows at his head, "Hey hey hey princess, I'm injured. You can't do that to me you have to be nice." he said.

"No I don't." I said simply before Clara came running in.

"Hi Sebby! Will you watch movies with us?" she asked excitedly.

Lucas smiled, "Of course I will. Which one is first?" he asked.

And so for the rest of the day we watched movie after movie, only ever pausing for food and bathroom breaks.

Shortly after dinner, when we were closing out Clara's night with her favorite, 'The Little Mermaid' I found myself drifting off to sleep, the lack of sleep from the night before setting in.

I woke up with a blanket laid over me and a pillow underneath my head that hadn't been there before. I sat up and looked around, seeing Lucas lounging on the couch, watching the TV. He glanced over at me and smirked.

"Welcome back to the land of the living Princess." he said.

"How long have I been out?" I asked.

"About three hours." He answered.

"Shit, where's Clara she needs to go to bed." I said, looking around for her.

"I put her to bed, don't worry." he said.

I looked at him, "You should've woken me up. I could've done it. It's what I'm getting paid for." I said.

"You needed sleep. After what you did for me last night the least I could do was put my little sister to bed one night." he said.

I smiled, "Well, thank you." I said and he just smiled before turning his head back to the TV.

"How are the ribs?" I asked.
