"Welcome back, splendid heroes!" Gilgamesh said then laughed as he looked at Ishtar. "And you, shameless goddess who came back with them! Tell me how it feels to have joined my army."

"Nobody joined you army, you idiot!" Ishtar said. "I've simply entered into a business partnership with that Master over there! Just you wait! I'll bring this one back to life... even if he dies or explodes until he's an amazing Master! And you'll be screaming, 'Oh, Ishtar! You truly are the goddess of victory! Guess I'll have to kill myself!'"

"I'm not going to die, you fool!" Gilgamesh replied heatedly.

"What? I knew I shouldn't have come!" Ishtar said.

"Those two argue like an old married couple," Sienna said.

"Trust me, this is tame," Zack said. "At least they're only throwing insults and not attacks at one another. Gilgamesh really doesn't like Ishtar."

"Why?" Weiss asked.

"She's partly the reason Enkidu died," Zack said. "The only reason he's being so restrained is because he understands the goddess in front of him is not the Ishtar he knows."

"That's some restraint," Tai said.

"Please, both of you, stop," Siduri said. "The patron deity appears before us. There is no greater honour. Let us forget about the damage report from the ranchers."

Ishtar and Gilgamesh stopped bickering.

"It looks like Ishtar isn't able to push Siduri around, as she is a devout believer," Fujimaru said to Mash.

"I'm her priestess?" Nora asked.

"Well, I suppose you'd do," Weiss said. "No explosions though."

Nora paled in horror. That was almost as bad as no pancakes!

"Can I switch religions?" Nora asked.

"No, this goddess forbids it," Weiss said.

"Now, we will deal with rehabilitating you later," Gilgamesh said. "The issue at hand is the three goddesses. Ishtar has given in, but the true nature of my plan is elsewhere. The divine tool of the god Marduk who ripped open Tiamat's throat... 'The Axe of Marduk.' This is the biggest secret plan we have against Gorgon!"

"The throat of the goddess Tiamat?" Fujimaru asked.

"That might work against Gorgon, as well, as she has gained Tiamat's Authority!" Mash said.

"Bet they have an axe to grind with Gorgon," Yang joked.

"Groan, really Yang!?" Ruby said. "No more bad puns!"

"I swear we should set up a bad pun jar," Summer said. "Like a swear jar, except for puns. Every time someone *cough Tai cough Yang cough* says a bad pun, they have to put one lien in it."

"I don't think those two have that much cash on hand," Qrow said, pointing at the blond father daughter duo. "They might just bankrupt them before the day's over."

"Our puns aren't that bad," Tai said.

"Yes, yes they are," Raven said.

"I think I might be able to completely rebuild Crescent Rose with that kind of money," Ruby fantasized.

"Yes," Gilgamesh said. "That axe will be the key to defeating Gorgon! The axe is still being kept within Eridu."

"Eridu," Ozpin said. "The first city in Sumerian mythology where the divine right to rule was given. I see, the jungle to the south, beyond Ur... That place."
