Jaune was being trained in Kung Fu by Lu Yan by a river. He was holding the horse stance as Lu Yan watched.

Lu Yan got up and grabbed a small round pebble.

"Jaune, go deeper!" Lu Yan said as he placed the pebble on Jaune's head and pushed him to bend more. "Must taste bitter before sweet. Horse Stance. Grow roots!"

"Ah, he's even teaching in riddles," Sun said. "Now this brings me back to when mom would train me."

"Didn't she have you fight her on top of bamboo stalks?" Neptune said.

"And then she punched me into the nearby mountain too," Sun said.

"Your mom is crazy," Blake said.

"But she's hot, and that excuses everything," Scarlet said.

"No it doesn't," Roman said. "That's just more reason to get the fuck away! Never stick your you-know-what into crazy!"

"But if you do, prepare for the adventure of a lifetime," Tai said.

"Wait, are you calling me crazy?" Raven asked.

"Pretty sure you are," Cinder said.

"Well, Tai?" Summer asked sweetly.

Tai sweated as he tried to come up with an answer that would result in minimal harm for himself. "I plead the fifth?"

"Wrong country, my friend," Zack said as the two ladies went to maul their ex/husband.

"Is dad going to be okay?" Ruby asked as a cartoonish dust cloud covered the three, occasionally showing them like in a cartoon.

"Dad will be fine, Ruby," Yang said. "Right?"

"He'll live," Qrow said. "He survived marrying my sister, didn't he?"

Lu Yan went back to sit down and watch Jaune as the Monk came along.

"Horse stance," Jaune said as the Monk inspected his stance.

"Very good," the Monk said, "for taking a dump." He kicked Jaune in the leg, knocking him over.

"Dick move, Sun," Jaune complained.

"It did look like you were taking a dump," Sun said. "Besides, if you were doing it properly, you wouldn't have fell from one measly kick."

"You know, how come we've never seen you do this?" Neptune asked.

"Oh, this is for beginners," Sun said. "I graduated to kicking ass a long time ago."

"Reigning champ of Haven's martial arts competition," Sage said.

"He is?" Yang said. "Maybe we should spar."

"Sure, why not," Sun said.

"Hey!" Lu Yan said, getting up. "Enough from you! He's my student, not yours. If two tigers cannot live in the same mountain, two masters cannot teach the same student."

Lu Yan helped Jaune back up. "Horse Stance."

The Monk went to speak with Lu Yan. "If he is really to learn the Kung Fu, he must develop the speed, accuracy and power!"

"Hey, I know that!" Jaune said, getting the two masters to turn to him. "It's the Way of the Intercepting Fist. Bruce Lee?"

The two masters did not understand the modern pop culture reference.
