3rd Person POV

"I stared at that newspaper for so many years." Barry whispers to Iris in the dark time vault. "First it felt like a guide. You know, like proof that things were headed in the right direction. Then it became a sword hanging over my head. A part of me always felt like if I vanish in whatever crisis is coming... Maybe I was still out there somewhere, looking for a way to come back to you and Mack. According to The Monitor, that doesn't happen."

Iris clicks the lights on

"To save the lives of billions, the Flash must die." Iris quotes Monitor. "What kind crap is that?" Barry lets out a small laugh. "No, I'm serious." Iris says. "I mean, The Monitor shows up here out of nowhere and says that you're supposed to die on December 10th? And good lord, what happens when MacKenzie finds out because the Monitor's got nothing on that little girl and her powerhouse energy when she's angry."

"We can't tell her." Barry says. "Not yet."

"Look, the last I remember, that article said that you were in a fight with Thawne, not some cosmic disaster." Iris tells him

"The article changed." Barry says

"If that article can change, then that means that we can still change the future." Iris says. "So what do we do first?"

"If a doctor told you you were dying, you'd get a second opinion." Barry says. "So I'm gonna go see this Crisis for myself."

MacKenzie's POV

"T-minus 30 seconds, people." Ralph announces as him, me, Cisco, and Frost walk up a dark stairway

"I knew this was a bad idea." Frost says

"This was your idea." I remind her

"I'm just the guy making dreams come true." Cisco says

"20 seconds, people." Ralph says

"Okay, fine." Frost says as we stop at the top of the stairs. "Just do it." Cisco injects Frost with a syringe and her glowing eyes diminish. "Did it work? I sound like Caity."

"You sound like a non-meta, thanks to Ray Palmer." Cisco says. "As long as this nanite camouflage cocktail is active, your voice and eyes will allow you to blend in with any group of regular Joes, so you can, you know, live your life without scaring the ever-loving crap out of people."

"And what about my hair?" Frost asks

"Trust me." Cisco says. "You'll fit right in." Cisco opens the door to a very creative looking place. There's art all over the walls

"Wow." I breathe, looking around

"Welcome." Cisco says. "Now, you three behave. I'm gonna go find our star curator." Cisco leaves the group

"What am I looking at here?" Frost asks, looking around

"Your next lesson, Frosty." Ralph says. "Some of the very stuff that makes life worth living: art."

As we're looking at artwork, a woman with white long hair passes by

"You really do blend in here." Ralph tells Frost with a small laugh, pointing as the woman passes by us

"It's rude to point." I chide him, playfully slapping his hand down

"Owwie." Ralph pouts, holding his hand to which I roll my eyes with a smile

"Are you two done?" Frost asks us. "This place is so lame. I mean, come on. This isn't art. It's garbage."

"Come on, Frost. It's not all that bad." Ralph says as we walk over to another art piece
