3rd Person POV

"What's going on?" I question, running into the speedlab. Nash is seizing on the bed and Cecile is grabbing her stomach and chest as if she's going to either panic or throw up with tears running down her face. "I left for like 10 minutes!" I tell Cisco, running over to the computer he was working on to look at the scans

"I don't understand." Cisco tells me. "I've got the PTDs on full blast. Thawne's negative tachyons should be destabilizing, but the neuron data isn't showing any resistance. If anything, his energy's intensifying." He looks at Nash's body. "What the hell is he doing to you in there?"

Cecile takes a breath, tears running down her face. "I barely even feel Nash anymore, I just... all I... all I feel is fear and shame all around me." She says, her voice breaking. "I can't... I can't... I don't think I can..." She begins to panic

"Cecile, are you okay?" Cisco asks as my eyes widen

"Almost there." Nash-Thawne says, his eyes glowing red and his hands vibrating. He sits up to leave but Cisco puts power dampening cuffs on him. "These won't hold me." Nash-Thawne tells Cisco

Cecile hits Nash-Thawne over the head and he passes out. "What the hell just happened?" She asks in a whisper

"Thawne just connected to his Speed Force." Cisco says. "If that happens again, we lose Nash forever. And the Reverse-Flash lives again."

"Why isn't this working?" Cecile asks

"Thawne's tachyons are proliferating at a rate that exceeds the PTD's capabilities." Cisco says. "So it's just a matter of time before Thawne takes over Nash's body."

"What happens to Nash? And to the other Wellses?" Cecile asks

"They'll be in a living hell." Cisco says

"Trapped inside Thawne's psyche forever." I add

"He'll be able to siphon their knowledge." Cisco says. "If he gets loose, we can't risk him having Nash's mind and his gadgets. We have to destroy these." He says, picking up Nash's bag and a picture falls to the floor

Cecile picks the picture up. "Is that Allegra?" She asks

"No, it's a doppelganger." Cisco says. "Maybe that's why Nash hung around so much. Allegra reminds him of someone he knew."

"Reminds him... reminds him!" Cecile exclaims. "Everything that he's been feeling, all of his emotions, they remind me of how I feel when I think about Joanie or Jenna. It's... it's almost parental. But it's not just that, it's mixed with the feeling that I had in '95 when my mom passed away. Grief. Oh, my God, Cisco." She whispers, tears in her eyes. "I think that Nash is caught up in a loop, and it's made out of remorse and sadness."

"Negativity." I say

"I think that Allegra's doppelganger died." Cecile says

"What could be more painful than the loss of a child?" Cisco says. "Cecile, if you're right, then Thawne is holding Nash in the memory of her death."

"That's why Nash has to be the one to expel Thawne." Barry says, walking into the room. "We're gonna help him." He says, holding up a device

"The M.A.D. 2.0." Cisco realizes, grabbing the device

"We used it to get inside the Thinker's mind." Barry says. "This time we're going inside Nash's, and together, we'll force Thawne out from the inside."
