TJ was so in love with Cyrus.

Everytime he looked at Cyrus his heart skipped a beat.

And everytime Cyrus looked at him, TJ swore he stopped breathing.

Talking to Cyrus was a whole other thing.

It was impossible for TJ to keep himself from acting like a total dork when he was around Cyrus.

He stuttered, messed up words, and sometimes just paused to stare at Cyrus for akward periods of time.

TJ wanted to kiss Cyrus hello whenever he saw him in the halls.

He wanted to walk Cyrus to class with his arms thrown over Cyrus's shoulders.

And he wanted to be the one with his arms wrapped around Cyrus's waist while Cyrus sat on his lap.

Yet here he was, in the cafeteria of Jefferson High School, watching Cyrus from where he was sitting on his fiance's lap.

Yup, fiance.

Mason {back by popular demand ;)}, Cyrus's boyfriend and newly fiance.

It was no surprise that the two were engaged.

They had been dating since 8th grade when they were 14, and now they were in their senior year at 18.

Cyrus and Mason were both from very wealthy families.

And TJ knew he couldn't compete with Mason, he had nothing.

And more importantly, he was nothing to Cyrus.

TJ couldn't bear to watch the happy couple anymore today, so he stood and stormed out of the cafeteria.

He was just planning on hiding in a bathroom stall or in the janitors closet.

TJ went out to his car instead, sitting inside and angrily fidgeting with his keys.

He heard a soft tap at his passenger window a few minutes after he had been sitting their.

Cyrus was standing their, rocking back and forth, smiling softly at TJ.

TJ couldn't not unlock the car, plus Cyrus looked freezing.

Cyrus climbed in and pulled the car door shut.

TJ started the car up just to get the heat going.

"Hey,"Cyrus said.

"Hey,"TJ said softly.

"I just noticed how upset you looked and wanted to make sure you were okay,"Cyrus said.

Another reason TJ loved Cyrus, Cyrus was the sweetest, kindest humming being on the planet.

"You barely know me,"TJ pointed out.

And that was true.

They had gone to the same school as each other for years.

And they were classmates, and had worked together on a few projects.

But TJ would not say he and Cyrus were even friends, even though he wanted much more than that.

"I want to,"Cyrus said,"Get to know you that is."

TJ blushed at the comment, grateful he could play it off as being cold.

"Shouldn't you get back to Mason,"TJ asked, glancing down at Cyrus's hand where the ring was in his finger.

"Yeah,"Cyrus said,"If you need anything, just text me."

Cyrus scribbled his phone number down on a piece of paper that he found.
