Chapter 11

(Riley's P.O.V)

***Couple days later***

I was over at Jonathan's place. We were sitting on the couch watching T.V, when there was a knock at his door. He got up and answer it. I turn around to see a guy that looks like him.

"Jonathan" the guy said.

"David" Jonathan said.

David came inside and put all his bags on the floor.

"David this is my girlfriend Riley. Riley this is my brother, David." Jonathan said.

"It's nice to meet the girl Jonathan wouldn't shut up about." David said.

"David!"

"What, you know it's true. Also I'm a big fan of Riley's broadcasting, every game I would listen to her calling what you and the boys do on the ice."

"Thanks" I said. It was weird for someone to admire my work as I just say what is happening on the ice. Expecially Jonathan's brother. They walk over to the couch and Jonathan sits next to me. I wanted to cuddle with him but I don't want to seem like a puck slut with his brother around. Jonathan puts his arm around me and pulls me in.

"You excited to play for the Hawks?" I asked David.

"You bet and maybe I get a girl like you." David said.

Then my phone started to ring. I look at Jonathan and gave me the eyes saying 'you can answer it.'

I answer it as I got off the couch.

"Hello?" they said in Polish.

"Hello, who is this?" I ask in Polish.

"Riley, it's me Cole."

"What do you want?"

"For us to get back together."

"First off, no. I have found someone who makes me very happy. Second thing, I thought you were in Poland?"

"I am but I'm coming back to America and wanted to be with you."

"Not after everything you did to me. Goodbye."

"Ril..." I hanged up the phone and went to back to Jonathan.

"Who was that?" David asked.

"Someone" I said.

"Riley, who was it? I could hear you and it sounded like you were going to go off at them." Jonathan said.

"My idoit ex boyfriend. He is coming back to America and wanted to get back together but I told him no. Expecially after what he did to me." I said.

"Where did you learn to speak Polish?" David asked.

"My idoit ex, he was from Poland and came to Michigan. He taught me to speak Polish because his parents didn't know English very well. Now I speak fluent Polish."

"Okay"

"Who wants to play NHL15?" Jonathan asked, trying to change subjects.

"Me" I said.

"You two can, I'm tired from the flight. Where am I staying for the night?" David asked.

"Down the hallway and the room to the left of the bathroom." Jonathan said.

"Thanks, nice meeting you Riley."

"You too." I said.

David grabs one of his bags and heads to his room. Jonathan grabs the controllers and turns on his Xbox. He comes back and hands me one of them.

"Why do you and most boys don't get along?" Jonathan asked.

"No clue, I think I just pick the wrong guys. But not you, your the best guy I ever have had." I said.

"I feel special."

"You are special."

Today was David first practice with the team. We all went in Jonathan's car to the United Center.

Once everyone was in the locker room, Jonathan spoke with the David next to him.

"If you guys don't know, this is my younger brother, David. He is going to be playing with us for a bit." Jonathan said.

I walked over to Aaron.

"Hey Aaron" I said. No response from Aaron. "Earth to Aaron."

"Sorry Riley." Aaron said

"What you staring at?"

"Come over to my place later and I will tell you."
