Hongjoong's POV :
i walked nervously in the hallways of the agency , i am a trainee and i am gonna meet that man for the first time ; Eden . he is a songwriter , producer and a singer in KQ entertainment , i heard that he is very talented and have a big experience in here .
as i approached his door , i gulped , took a deep breath and knocked , once i heard " come in " i opened the door slowly to be met with a smiley man with slightly long hair , well that's not what i expected , i expected an old man with a strict gaze .
" you must be ... kim hongjoong " he said after looking at a paper next to him
" y-yes sir " i replied nodding and he chuckled
" no need to be nervous young man , it's not something hard or surreal here . take a seat "
it was then when i noticed 7 boys sitting on chairs , they looked around my age but i never met them before except yunho , the latter waved his hand and smiled reassuringly at me and i did the same before seating next to a taller man , he had black hair covering his forehead and his eyes , his lips drew a line and man he looked intimidating , he had his arms crossed over his chest an his gaze was directed toward the back of eden who i don't know what he was doing before he turned to look at us
" well young men , you have been in this place for quiet a while now and you had multiple singing , dancing , rapping lessons , and now it's time we see if you can handle going on stages and perform . as you may have known you need my approval to do the next step " he said looking serious now and we all nodded
" who auditioned for rap ? " he asked and i raised my hand along with the guy of earlier , his look screams rapper
" and are you still rapper ? " he asked again and i nodded meanwhile he shook his head " your name ? "
" park seonghwa "
eden nodded and mentioned for him to go in the recording room , it's really happening , i started feeling my breathing quicken
" you ready there ? " when the guy named seonghwa gave him his thumbs up , the music started , eden was focusing and it made it harder for me , he can catch the smallest error an it's terrifying to fail after all this time , i started biting my lower lip an bouncing my leg from side to side , which made the singer inside to eye me for a second before looking at his mic again
" you did well , i think with more training and less nervousness , you can do better " eden smiled and seonghwa thanked him before coming back to his seat
" your lip is bleeding " he said without looking at me and i touched it as if i am checking an yes i was bleeding ... blood , it's scary ...
i kept looking at my hand feeling myself slip to a very young age
' not now , i will lose everything ' even after knowing i will fail at this stage , i couldn't pull myself out of that bubble
" hey " seonghwa snapped his fingers in front of me but i couldn't move nor look somewhere else
" excuse me sunbae " he called and eden turned around while a short guy was putting his headphones on " can i take him out , i think he is nervous " he asked and the producer looked at me before nodding
