Alya POV
"HONEY I'm Home" Jasmine stated coming in the apartment laughing "and why you got all this money out" she said staring at me counting money on the couch
"Girl I'm not your honey first and second you know I'm on thanksgiving break so I was able to do a lot more hair so with that and the saving we kept for the past three years we can finally get that condo in buck head and have enough money left to get a table, two beds, a couch, dishes and food. The rest we can work for and..." I rambled super excited that we can finally update.
"AYYYYEEEE" Yasmine screamed super excited too " All this hard work finally paying out I think by next year you gonna have your shop and I'm going have my store and we gone be up there" She said. Something I always loved about Jasmine she always supported me. People love say "Blood thicker than Water" but nobody in my family ever supported me and looked out for my well-being like Jasmine.
"And we finally can cook for holidays and stuff I'm so excited" I said thinking about the bigger Christmas tree and decorations Christmas has always been my favorite time of year
"Speaking of holidays Trey ask me to come over his mom house for Thanksgiving and I know we always spend it together so I told him that but his said you can come too but if you don't wanna go we don't have too" Jasmine said feeling like I'm going to say no
" Sure" I said keeping it simple to cure her nervousness.
"You right we can just stay.. wait what?" Jasmine said "I said sure girl I rarely see you happy and he been making you happy for almost 5 months so I'll go" I said genuinely
" I love you I love you bruh" she said "one catch tho he gonna help us move" I said "deal and done boo" she said smiling obviously happy
"Ok well how about we go and look at these condos" I said stacking up the money. "Hell Yea and get some food too ya girl ain't ate all day" she said standing up.
" Me too Chris canceled on me earlier" I said thinking about the lunch I never received.
"Speaking of Chris how's that going you seem happy." Jasmine looked over at me as we walked to the car
"He's great almost a little too great you know" I said thinking about Chris
"Girl don't start" Jasmine said confusing me "Start what" I stated starting the car "the self sabotage you always doing just be happy you want to be happy I want you to be happy you know" Jasmine said seriously
"Okayyy I guess you're right not everything is the same it's just I'm so used to anytime going down hill for me you know" I said looking away from the road for a minute
"Yes I do but you gotta hope for the best girl and if the worst come I'm always gone be there to make it better I love you " she said smiling at me
"Yea Yea I love you too" I laughed out getting on the highway.
