It was the most beautiful day for Nica. Her wedding day and of course abala ang buong barkada lahat may participation me as the maid of honor and Troy as the best man. Si Joaquin was with Isabelle. Jacob and Mico were without their partners. Si Aya came with her young executive boyfriend na noon din lang namin nakita at nakilala. Everyone was in tears including me. Tears of happiness for Nica & Mike. Troy, the ever gentleman that he is was always with me throughout the ceremony. While everyone thought it was a whirlwind romance I personally think this is one beautiful union. Mike is a responsible and a very religious guy kaya like Troy masuwerte ang magiging life partner niya.
"O picture na! bilis! Family then entourage naman." Excited si Aya.
"O friends ng bride." sabi ng photographer. "Friends ng groom."

At the Reception
Joaquin
Bakit ba ganito ang pakiramdam ko? Kasama ko si Isabelle pero parang gusto kong agawin si Kristina kay Troy. Naiinis ako sa lalaking ito. Inaagawan niya ako ng spot sa buhay ni Kristina. Sa buhay ng best friend ko.
"Hey, Joaquin. Is anything wrong?" Si Isabelle. Natauhan ako. Kasama ko nga pala ang girlfriend ko.
"Huh? ah wala...nothing. I was just thinking kung ako naman kaya ang ikakasal..."
""Well, that won't happen unless you propose to someone. I--guess."
"Yeah, maybe you're right."
"Guys! time to see whose neeeext! sigaw ni Nica to get the attention of the people.
Itong si Kristina hindi na nilayuan ni Troy.
Nagipon ang mga bisita sa gitna. Unang itinapon ang wedding bouquet. Si Kristina ang nakasalo.
Sumunod ang garter. Sumigaw si Aya.
"Hoy, Joaquin Espinosa dapat ikaw ang makasalo nyan!" Napangiti ako. Tiningnan ako ni Isabelle.
Mapaglaro ang tadhana. Ako ang nakasalo.
Tiningnan ko si Troy. Ngumiti ito. Si Kristina. Si Isabelle.
"Go! higher Joaquin!" Sigaw ng barkada. Bumulong si Kristina "Umayos ka Joaquin tandaan mo andyan ang ka-date mo."
"Be a sport Kristina, this is just a game." Pabulong ko ding sagot.
