I entered my office. Joaquin was sitting on the couch.
"What is this all about Joaquin?!" Tanong ko dito.
"Ako ang dapat magtanong sa iyo Kristina!" Mataas ang boses nito.
"About what?"
"About everything!"
"Hey Joaquin calm down. You're in my office remember...ano bang problema?"
"Best friends tayo Kristina but why the hell should I be the last to know? Pinaiikot niyo na pala ako!"
"I don't understand...you come here, barge into my meeting and now pagtataasan mo ako ng boses dito sa sarili kong opisina. Pwede ba Joaquin? Will you get direct to the point you're wasting my time kasisigaw mo dyan. Ano ba talaga ang problema mo?!"
"Ikaw ang problema Kristina and the deal with Mr. Ramirez. How stupid I am to think that all my efforts worked the way it should. Iyon pala everything was because you meddled in between." Sagad ang galit sa boses nito.
Nagulat ako paano nalaman ni Joaquin ang tungkol dito.
"I-I was just trying to help. We handle all the advertisements of Mr. Ramirez's company I thought maybe a little request won't be too much." Kumuha ako ng tubig sa refrigerator.
"Yun nga. Pinaikot niyo ako. Ginawa ninyo akong tanga. Si Papa, si Mr. Ramirez and you." Hinawakan ako ni Joaquin sa braso and hinapit paharap sa kanya. Halos magkadikit na ang mga mukha namin. I can feel his breath on my face.
"May pa-congratulations ka pa...Ano ang kapalit Kristina? Ang pagpapakasal mo kay Troy? Ganun ka na ba ka desperada to get a husband?!" He kissed me filled with anger. Kumalas ako and slapped him.
"Get out of my office Joaquin. Get out!"
