I cannot accept the fact na itinago ni Kristina ang buong katotohanan regarding the deal with Mr. Ramirez at ngayon may plano pa siyang pakasal kay Troy nang hindi man lang nya sinasabi sa akin. Napakabilis naman yata mga pangyayari. Of all people ako pa na best friend niya ang nagmukhang tanga.
"Ito ang paborito naming restaurant ni Kristina." Kwento ko kay Isabelle habang nagpa-park ng kotse.
"So why did you bring me here?" Tanong nito.
"Wala lang. We are on a date di ba? and this is one of the places that serves the best food in town and I want you to check it out. Tara, let's go."
Hindi pa rin maalis sa isip ko ang mga narinig ko kaninang umaga. Kailangan kong makausap si Kristina. I need to know kung ano ang dahilan niya to do all these to me.
"Joaquin..."
"Ah, yes. W-what about?" Tanong ko kay Isabelle. Tapping my fingers on the table.
"I am asking you what's good here? What do you suggest?"
"H-ha? Everything is good here. Sabi ko nga sa yo they have the best food in town. Let's order..."
"Are you with me Joaquin?"
"Oo naman."
"May problema ba tayo? you seem so tensed and anxious."
"W-wala. Order na tayo." Sinenyasan ko yung waiter na lumapit.
After we ordered nagsalita si Isabelle.
"I was offered a project in L.A. but it requires me to stay there. 2 years ang contract for a cosmetic company. I decided to consult you before I accept it tutal on going naman yung project ko with your company and I would love to live here with you... Joaquin are you listening?"
"Accept the project."
"What?"
"Sabi ko tanggapin mo sayang din yan."
"Hindi mo ako pipigilan?"
