Chapter 8- Feelings (TC pt.5)

"Alright boys and girls today is the last day of the training camp meaning that we'll be having our scrimmages!" Coach Ukai announces as everyone was gathered up in the gym.

"This gym is able to fit 3 courts so we'll be having three different matches going on at once having the coaches as the refs. We hope that you have learnt many things from the camp and wish the best for every team," He continues before calling the different teams that will be playing first.

With that the games started those on court warming on with their teams and such.

"I'm so hyped up to finally beat Mei-San and your old teammates to a pulp today!" Akari beams as we were all stretching on the gym floors.

"Honestly me too," I add as I glance at the Nekoma girls before looking at our opponents Johzenji stretching on the other side of the court.

Our first match was against the notorious 'party school' whereas the other two courts had Karasunos boys and Nekomas boys facing off and Fukurodanis boys and Nohebi's boys against each other.

The rest of the teams were on the sidelines either watching a match or conversing with each other.

"Can I get both captains to do a coin flip!" Aoba Johsai's boys coach called out to which Hina took as a signal getting up from the floor.

"So where did you go last night Ren? Ito said that you fell asleep in her room, kind of suspicious to me," Sakura speaks up grinning at me.

"I didn't go anywhere. I just saw her in the halls and we talked in her room till I got too tired to walk back so I stayed there," I reply as casually as I could as I tied my shoes.

Both girls in front of me gave each other a look before grinning back at me.

"Are you sure you weren't with a certain boy?"Akari winks playfully to which I couldn't help but laugh at.

"Nope, just talked to Ito that's all."

"Hmm alrighty then Ren whatever you sa—owie!" The vice captain whines as she rubs the back of her head in pain.

"Akari stop interrogating Ren and start getting everyone else huddled up as I talk to the ref," Hina scolds the girl before walking back to the center of the court.

I only snicker in response receiving a glare from the vice captain before she calls everyone.

After finishing our warmup and doing our small pep talk our match begins a few others watching and cheering us on, one being the Seijoh boys of course.

Glancing in the direction of the group I quickly spot the familiar black haired boy about to send a smile his way till I noticed another figure.

Of course it was Rin talking to him to which Iwaizumi only kept a stoic look nodding at whatever she was saying.

I couldn't help but ball my hands up slightly as the girl continued to constantly flirt with my boyfriend as I knew for a fact that she knew of the thing we both had.
